Sunshine Beach is known for its charming village ambiance and laid back atmosphere. Even though it has embraced the cosmopolitan life, it is most appreciated for it's sandy beaches and calm vibes.

Duke Street is the commercial center of Sunshine Beach, replete with cafes, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, and shops. Just down the street sits the iconic Sunshine Beach Surf Club, which sits along one of the best surfing beaches in the country.

The best way to spend a day in Sunshine Beach is true to the name: relaxing on the pristine beaches with the sparkling blue ocean as your backdrop is guaranteed to make for a calming and replenishing visit. In addition to enjoying the ocean yourself, keep an eye out on the sea for whales and dolphins in the water.

Located on the southern edge of Noosa Heads National Park, Sunshine Beach is a beautiful 45-minute walk from Hastings Street, or if you have a car, just a 10-minute drive. There is a car park on the northern side of the beach. It also only about 25 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport.

One of the unique advantages of Sunshine Beach is that it is dog-friendly, while a lot of other Queensland beaches are not.

Check real estate websites for sublets of vacation homes if you'd like to extend your stay on the beautiful Sunshine Beach.
