This was a great hike. My husband did it last year and came back saying it was good hike. But he did not think I could do it. Later he said he wished I could do the hike to Diamond Head he thought I would like it We did a lot of walking and stairs, as he had told me about the stairs in prepration. I was able to do the hika and enjoyed it very much.
This trip was one of my most pleasurable. Our guide was prompt in picking us up and extremely knowledgable of Diamond Head.Joseph made our trip fun and educational. Ask for him!
My family and I greatly enjoyed this tour. Diamond head was beautiful. The hike was adventurous and fun. Our driver was friendly and informative as well.
Great tour guide, lots of great information provided. Made a very interesting overview of not only Diamond Head but also Hawaii in general. The sunrise itself was amazing too - well worth it!
Our tour guide, Joseph, was awesome! He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii and Diamond Head. He was very patient and helpful when we wanted to take pictures. Absolutely amazing! There's really no better way to see Oahu. We flew around the entire island and saw breathtaking views of Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Chinaman's Hat, the North Shore and more. When they say 45 minutes, they really mean it! As soon as you take off, they start a stopwatch so you can actually see how long the flight takes. Our flight was actually more like 50 minutes. You'll have the chance to capture breathtaking photos and memories to last a lifetime!
The hike was amazing. Very glad we did the early morning one, as the day was heating up by the time we were done. The view from the top of Diamond Head was worth every bit of effort it took to get there. Joseph was a great guide with Amazing knowledge and facts to share. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
Love going to Diamond Head. I would recommend it to any one I know that goes to Oahu. Had a great tour guide and the view was the best. I couldn't get any better shots then from the top of Diamond Head. Thank you!
We took the 930 a.m. tour which allowed our kids to sleep in a bit. Our tour guide was fantastic - provided a lot of information about the local flora and history and took us around Diamond Head as well afterwards. He paced our group well so no one had difficulty with the climb. Recommend packing extra sunscreen and hat as it can get quite warm if the sun is out.
This was a great and informative tour. The bus was air-conditioned and comfortable. We did not actually go all the way up to Diamond Head, just drove near it. Also, we saw many different sites, but only a couple of "Obama" things. During the last half hour of the tour on the way back into Waikiki, we drove past Obama's school, his grandma's apartment complex, and the place where he loved to get shaved ice. We got out to buy some as well. Our tour guide was the best! He had a great sense of humor, and provided lots of info about the different areas we went to or drove through. He also gave tips on the Hawaiian language, how to say certain words, and what they mean. For the price of this tour, it was definitely well worth it!
Had an awesome time! the Tour guide was well informed and shared knowledge of the local area as well as the Diamond Head Crater. They were prompt to pick up. We would definitely recommend the 6am start as it gets really sunny around 9am and the climb will be more difficult. Plus, the views of the sunrise are simply amazing!
We really liked this adventure and the view on Waikiki from Diamond Head. The only negative was that this company no longer provides rain gear and we needed that during part of the walk up the crater
