Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
Fantastic tour guide - humerous and insightful.
Needed more time at the pineapple plantation (would have liked to walk through the maze and take the train).
The place we stopped for lunch was pretty poor.
Overall we're glad we took this trip

Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
This was a really good trip from begining to end. I was a little concerned that the children would find it too much driving, but our driver, Leo, was really good. He knew when to entertain and when to just let us all soak up the views. He made unscheduled stops when he got a call telling him that turtles had come ashore on a beach. Everyone was back to the coach on time and there was plenty of time at each stop to take photos. Unlike other tours we have read about, Leo gave us plenty of time at the Dole plantation and yes we did try the Dole Whip, it was amazing.
We used the knowledge that we gained on this tour to revisit the places we liked the best. It was a really great day and once again for me, Viator has proven that they use the best coach companies for their tours.

Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
A must for 1st time visitors to Oahu. You get to see some pretty amazing scenery both beaches and mountains. Have a pineapple dessert at the Dole Plantation as that is a winner. The tour guide was exceptional and very funny and entertaining.

Driver was great! Too little time at Dole and what happen to the train ride through the plantation?

Loved it!! The tour guide was friendly and informative and the landscape is beautiful! I loved the Byodo temple, the Dole plantation and seeing the Chinaman's hat and Hanauma Bay. Would definitely recommend to those first timers to Hawaii.

Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
This tour travels along the southern, eastern and northern shores. Need to get on right-hand side of bus to get best sea views. Gives you an idea of the geography and beauty spots of the island. Dole plantation was very disappointing and not worth stopping unless you are into buying souvenirs. Did not get there until 3.30pm, hardly any staff to serve food or coffee and all the other coaches are also there.

Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
Great tour of the island of Oahu, lots of opportunities to stop and take photos of all the main sights. Rained a lot but the views were worth it! Tour guide Ben was great, he was very informative and kept us laughing. The maze at the Dole Plantation was closed due to the rain which was a shame though.

Our tour guide was Ernel and he was fantastic. Make sure you do not sit on the driver's side of the bus or you miss out on seeing the coastline and getting good photographs.
Make sure you try the pineapple ice cream at the Dole plantation. We shared one between 2 as the US portion sizes are huge.
Well worth doing at the start of your trip to plan out where you would like to go back and spend more time.

Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
Forced to give 1 star. I would definitely not recommend this vendor for this tour. The shuttle was over 30 minutes late picking us up and starting the tour yet finished almost 30 minutes early. We only made 7 stops including the Dole Plantation, water stop, and lunch. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Besides the obvious, the only thing the guide pointed out along the way were the different schools on the route. A total of 30 minutes at the Dole Plantation didn't afford anyone the opportunity to take the train or visit the maze. With the shuttle being late, we did get to see Hanauma Bay. The guide stated she would make up the stop at Turtle Bay, yet she barely slowed down for everyone to see the turtles on the beach. Again, I would definitely steer clear of this vendor for this tour!

Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
Spending the whole day in the bus was a little too confining for us. We did get out and about for very short stops, 20 minutes at most, an hour at Dole Plantation, but my boys and I agreed that next time around, we are staying away from bus tours. One thing it was good for was planning out where we wanted to go during the remainder of our trip, although there are better ways of figuring that out. Oh, and our tour bus driver did a average job and was somewhat unhelpful when asked for advice.

Great tour but be prepared to be gone the entire day. It is quite an adventure. I wish we had more time at the Dole Plantation.

Cousin Leo was our driver. Well what a walking encyclopedia. I think he went to comedian school. He talked the whole tour. Very informative, always obliging. Great tour right around Oahu, all the surfing beaches, turtle beach, Hanauma Bay right around to Chinaman's Hat, stopping for lunch at Kualoa Ranch and ending up at the Dole Plantation.. We had yummy pineapple ice-cream, it was the best. Great day all round.

Doing what: Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation
This was a great tour, you got to see all the highlights of the island. The tour director for the day was very good and made it a good day too. At the plantation we would have liked time to do the train ride, but if you are happy to just eat the pineapple ice cream, non-dairy, and do some shopping you'll enjoy the plantation.
