A hallowed name in US history, Pearl Harbor was the site of the December 7, 1941, bombing by the Japanese that wrenched the United States into World War II. In total, nine U.S. ships were sunk and a further 21 damaged, and the eventual death ...

Well organised tour. Held on open top bus. Light rain didn't stop anything as the company provided ponchos. Skip the Pearl Harbor line. Well worth booking!

Best history lesson yet on WW2. We took our 13 yo and 10 yo and they really enjoyed it. The guide was so informative and gave us a tremendous insight into the events leading up to the bombing at Pearl Harbor, and the events during the war in the Pacific. I highly recommend this tour.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We enjoyed the short bonus of driving through some neighborhoods and around Diamond Head and learning some of the island's history. The time allowed at Pearl Harbor was minimal, however, and it would have been much nicer to have been able to spend more time browsing the exhibits and watching some of the documentaries. The brief boat ride over to see the Arizona and monument, while interesting, is definitely not the highlight of this historic venue. I would recommend, if possible, driving out to Pearl Harbouŕ yourself and perhaps booking a separate Honolulu tour.

Considering that it was pouring down rain and we had to abandon the double-decker for a coach bus, and the fact that we were on a vessel that lost both engines in the middle of Pearl Harbor, it wasn't bad. In fact, we got to spend longer than most at the AZ memorial. Everyone made the best of the situation.

The Pearl Harbor experience was amazing. We felt we did not get our $85 worth of a trip. It is free to get into Pearl Harbor so not quite sure what we got for $85 besides a bus ride there. If you have a rental car which we did drive yourself we wish we had. $85 is a lot of money for a bus ride! Advised others on trip advisor to be wary

Seeing Pearl Harbor was very inspirational, however also very disappointed. Our boat trip to the Arizona was canceled due to high winds. The Ranger said this was common practice, however this was never mentioned in any review or description of this tour..WE were leaving for a cruise that afternoon so we had no time to revisit the Arizona. VERY DISAPPOINTED

The bus driver was also the tour guide. She talked incessantly and, although she had some interesting facts to share, she was more annoying than helpful. The most disappointing part was getting to Pearl Harbor and finding out that there were no tickets left to tour the USS Arizona. We stood with our 65 fellow tourists in a standby line. Our wait time was 45 minutes leaving no time to view the other sites at Pearl Harbor. Huge waste of our time and since we bought this tour well in advance, it did NOT meet our expectations.

We were picked up at 7:10 a.m. and spent the next 1.5 hours picking other people up from hotels. When we finally got to Pearl Harbor, our tour guide decided we would wait and do the Arizona last. That worried me, because that was the most important part of the tour. By the time we got to the Arizona, the Navy had stopped the boats due to high winds. This must not be a rare event, so why would the tour guide take that risk with our tour. My husband and I were fortunate that we had another opportunity to go back a few days later, but most of the other people did not have that option.

I had read reviews that suggested doing Pearl Harbor on your own, but we went for the tour anyway. Based on our experience, I would not recommend taking this tour.

Everything I hoped for and more !!! Pearl Harbor is a must do spot on Oahu and the tour company made it a great experience. The tour was very professionally handled and Kimo, the tour driver, made us feel like we were with a friend visiting these attractions. Kimo was a very informative, polite, and knowledgeable person. Kimo was on time at our pick-up spot and was a very courteous driver. KUDOS to Viator for making this a memorable day.

Our tour guide (Kimake'a - Tour 63, bus 602) was a class act - combining Hawaiian history, language, and American and Japanese history in a way that helped me, born shortly after WWII, come to grips with the "Remember Pearl Harbor" attitude that was still strong in my formative years. The Pearl experience itself needs to be undertaken by all Americans whether as part of a tour or on your own. The downtown, Punchbowl, and personal touch on the tour were bonuses well worth the extra price of admission..
