We stayed at a resort on NorthShore so we had to coordinate our tour pick-up location. We were told to meet the bus at 06:30. That bus took us to another bus that then went to another location to wait over half an hour for another couple, then we were finally delivered to our tour bus. I don't remember what time that was. Bottom line, a lot of wasted time. Next, our driver/guide was a dry as the air, little relevent or useful information, old and worn humor, would have rather walked.
We drove around waiting to see what our itinerary would be for the day. That was based on the tour operator's ability to successfully purchase our tickets for the Arizona boat ride. In the mean time, we drove to the PunchBowl, a free drive-through tour, and drove through parts of Honolulu, stopped to kill time but not enough to really see (tour) anything that was pointed out. We then had a couple hours at the free Arizona memorial park before boarding the boat for the trip to the memorial itself. Afterward we went to the Missouri where time was limited.
I would not recommend this tour, especially if you are a military id card holder and can get most of this without much effort and at much less cost.
The Pearl harbour part of the tour was great but the driver of the coach could have made the rest a lot better. If going on the USS Missouri watch out for the guided tour guys the one we had talked so much we didnt get to see the boat because we had to be back on the bus
Excellent tour. Guide was excellent Unfortunately, he is leaving to go to Dental School. Easy walk. No hiking shoes needed. Sneakers are fine since a good portion is paved. If you can walk any distance uphill there are no problems with walk. Guide stopped a few times at lookouts to allow others to catch up , take pictures, and impart his knowledge. Worth the tour.
Highly recommend. Very moving. The oil still seeping from the water was definitely a sight to see. The Missouri was a nice take also . No bag policy is strictly enforced, but they had a bag check shack which worked out well. Not many food options if you are at the Missouri around luch time. They have a canteeen that basically sells only hotdogs. Store has packaged sandwiches. Well worth the time
Although it was overcast and we didn't get to see the sunset we had a great time. Our tour guides were patient with us while we tried to master the segways, and they were very informative as we traveled along. I would definately take this trip again. John M, Chicago
It was good not having to worry about tickets and being transported between the Arizona memorial and USS Missouri
We really liked this adventure and the view on Waikiki from Diamond Head. The only negative was that this company no longer provides rain gear and we needed that during part of the walk up the crater
very moving and first class guide.
would like to see ALL hats removed whilst in the memorial

I never thought I would get so close to an active volcano. A very awe-inspiring experience. The tour conductor went out of his way to ensure we obtained the very best views and experiences. After the volcano, the lava tunnel was awesome !! All tourists should do this fabulous activity
Loved this experience! it was postponed for a couple of days due to rough seas but when we did go everyhting went perfectly. I wish they would have fed the sharks but just seeing them close up was spectacular! Highly recommend this trip and get the video, it was well worth the proof that you actually got into the water with sharks and the bonus shark video is awesome! the captain and the deck hands were great and friendly. this is a must do!
The most disappointing part was the Tour for the Arizona memorial. 6.30 pickup 12.30 drop off.
We were picked up at 7.00 during the drive to to the memorial site we were told that our group had been given access to the memorial from 1.00pm.
We were the first bus group to arrive at the site at approx 8.30 am and were then transferred to another bus to take us to the Mighty Mo to explore. we had an hour here which was great but not long enough, we then had to depart the site and were taken on a tour of the Punch bowl and the city. At 11.45 we were dropped off next to a hot dog stand and told to go and buy a hot dog. No other options. We departed the tour at this point and mad our own way back to the Hotel, as we had another tour to be picked up from the hotel at 1.30.
So I was upset that the only thing I wanted to see in Hawaii was not availble.
I do not know what they charged for the tour, but six hours without providing a snack or even water is outrageous, I recommend that you do not use them again. The stated six hours can blow out, others that were on that day did not get back to the Hilton until 3.30
