Oahu WWII Historic Sites
Amid Oahu’s legendary beaches, surf breaks and volcano craters lies one of the United States’ most famous pieces of history – Pearl Harbor. While you may be going to Hawaii to soak up the sun and experience the Polynesian culture, you certainly won’t leave without a visit to Pearl Harbor and its surrounding World War II attractions: the USS Arizona, the USS Missouri, the Pacific Aviation Museum and Punchbowl National Cemetery. The tour combinations range in activities and length, so pick your fancy and have a beautiful, history-filled day in Oahu!

USS Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor and Punchbowl Sightseeing Tour
This five-hour tour gives you skip-the-line access to Pearl Harbor, where you’ll first visit the Visitor Center to explore artifacts from the Japanese attack before boarding a Navy launch boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. The final resting place of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives on December 7, 1941, the USS Arizona is a sobering place of commemoration. After your Pearl Harbor tour, you’ll drive through Punchbowl National Cemetery, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

USS Missouri, USS Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor and Punchbowl Day Tour
Similar to the above tour, this seven-hour day tour includes the same skip-the-line access at Pearl Harbor, as well as the drive through Punchbowl, but it also includes a guided tour of the USS Missouri. This famous battleship was the last one built by the United States and was the site of the 1945 Japanese surrender to the Allies.

Pacific Aviation Museum, USS Arizona Memorial, Punchbowl and Honolulu City Tour
This 7.5-hour excursion will take you through the same Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona Memorial tour, but also includes a visit to the Pacific Aviation Museum, a family-friendly venue located in a 1930s hangar on Ford Island. The museum presents a classic and rare collection of WWII American and Japanese airplanes. Then, you’ll enjoy a city tour of Honolulu and a drive through Punchbowl.

Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona and Circle Island Day Trip
This 9.5-hour tour is the one for you if you’d like to combine the Pearl Harbor activities with a scenic tour of Oahu. After visiting the USS Arizona Memorial, you’ll circle the rest of the island, exploring its beautiful sights. See where talented surfers show off their skills on the North Shore; enjoy breathtaking views at the Nu’uanu Pali Lookout; and visit the famous Dole Pineapple Plantation.

World War II Pearl Harbor Heroes Adventure Tour
This 9.5-hour tour is full immersion into Pearl Harbor and its related sites. After the USS Arizona Memorial, you’ll tour the USS Bowfin, a submarine nicknamed the “Pearl Harbor Avenger” for its instrumental role in epic Pacific battles. Then you’ll visit the Pacific Aviation Museum before taking a special guided tour of the USS Missouri

We loved this tour. Hotel pickup was prompt in an air conditioned bus. Narration of history was specific, and sites were amazing. Had senior citizens with me, and this was a great tour for them.
