Doing what: Bob Marley Reggae Explosion
We had a fantastic excursion through Viator. It ended up being two of us on the tour, so we had a private, air-conditioned car, with our own personal guide. He was great, with lots of great local stories and knowledge. We originally were interested in the jeep tour to Marley's house but were so glad we went with the private tour. The sun is pretty strong up in the mountains, and we went though some areas where children chased the cars begging. I imagine in an open-aired car that would be a bit overwhelming.

Doing what: Jamaica's Spirit of Reggae - the Bob Marley Experience from Montego Bay
Great trip very informative i loved it i would recommend this trip .What i will say is it is quiet a long journey to nine mile and its winding roads so be prepared. There are a lot of tour buses going and then they have to contend with the cruises ships coming so check the days they dock as it can get crowded. You can take photo's of most areas except the tomb.

One of the best tour of my life, Vergo is the best driver. Really learn a lot on that tour and you can see place you will never see otherwise.

We did this trip in April 2010 and really enjoyed the day, we travelled from Montego Bay so was quite a long day however we would still recommend especially for Bob Marley fans.

Doing what: Jamaica's Spirit of Reggae - the Bob Marley Experience from Montego Bay
Greatly enjoyed the excursion for two reasons. First, it takes you inland so that you see parts of Jamaica tourists often miss out on. This is a shame as Jamaica has beautiful scenery such as Bob Marley's birthplace, Nine Mile, lies in the mountains of St Ann Parish. Driver also stopped briefly on the way at a rural town. Secodnly, whether you're a Bob Marley fan or not, a visit to his birthplace and mausoleum is a significant experience, especially if you get a guide that's entertaining! Good service.

Doing what: Bob Marley Jeep Safari from Ocho Rios
This trip was the best I've ever been on. I highly recommend it. Bob Marley's place and Nine Mile is Jamaica's history and culture, so everyone should see it. Our driver was hilarious, he made the trip up the mountain a lot of fun and he showed us a lot of points of interest and explained everything. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, and trust me, we did. Bob Marley's place was great and they had a really good reggae band there. Don't stand on Mt. Zion, only sitting on it is allowed. Nice things to buy there, but gift shop is quite small and crowded. Prices were a lot cheaper than our hotel gift shop though and it just felt better buying things from there, maybe more authentic. Would highly recommend this trip, not for small children though.

Doing what: Jamaica's Spirit of Reggae - the Bob Marley Experience from Montego Bay
I thought the tour was very well put together. We were picked up on time and the driver was excellent. The tour guide was funny and very informative. The tour itself was great, this was my second time on tour and this was even better than the other one. Lunch at the end of it was excellent. Authentic jerk, it doesn't get any better than that.

Great tour. Being at the museum was so surreal. Being able to see and touch all the things that Bob once used was truely amazing. This is a must whether your a reggae fan or not.

Going through the country to Bob's place was a great trip in itself. The guide at the site was great and sure made the tour of the area interesting along with his sing of Marley tunes, which he does quite well. To us it was well worth it!
