Rachid was a very friendly and informative guide who made sure we got the best out of the day. We saw Nizwa and Bahla forts and Jabrin Castle as well as a Wadi and two interesting ruined settlements and had time to wander round the main sights at our leisure.

Everything worked perfectly, our guide was excellent, both as guide and driver, and we saw everything we hoped to see. The only slight downside was the place we were taken for lunch - a bit sub-standard, especially toilet facilities.

This was a great tour and an excellant value at less that $100 U.S. per person. I got to see many more placese than I would have found on my own with a rented card. The driver/guide named Rasheed was very pleasant and knowledgeable, making the trip quite enjoyable. In one day we managed to see three historic castles or forts and much more. It was great to see all the beutiful rocky mountains and desert landscape. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oman.

If you are happy to spend 6 out of 9 hours in a 4wd mainly on high speed roads then this is your trip. We found it disappointing and boring Our driver was great and flexible when we requested a change to the itinerary and it did improve. The Wadi drive was beautiful. Pack lunches are appalling.

Our guide was so kind and helpful. He picked us up on time and the mini van was comfortable and well airconditioned. It was a really interesting day and gave us the opportunity to see a good deal of Oman.

I just returned from the full day Nizwa and forts tour.
The guide Rasheed was very accommodating and knowledgable as well as speaking very good English.
I would strongly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to know the coutnry a bit deeper! Id do it again!

A brilliand day. Rashid our guide spoke excellent english and took us to places not on the itinerary and had many interesting stories to tell. Yes we could have driven and found the forts by ourselves but would have missed so much.
