We had a great day once we arrived at the Space Center, and enjoyed our time immensely. However we had to get a $12 cab fare to a particular place to be picked up, and then spent the next 75 minutes picking up other people. This was annoying and time wasting, and meant that we were unable to have breakfast beforehand, and as there were limited facilities at the Space Center, this was unsatisfactory. There is a lot to see and do on the tour, and not enough time to do everything. Although dining with the astronaut was a highlight, it meant that less time was available to do everything else. The guides were good at the Center, but the bus tour was longer than necessary, with photo stops being too long. We would have preferred a shorter bus tour, with more time available at the Space Center. However despite these issues it was a worthwhile tour, and we would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the achievements in the Space Program.

Not happy! Advertised "dine with an Astronaut" is not really true. You dine, then when you're finished an Astronaut comes in clothed in normal day clothes and does a talk at the front of the room. This is NOT "DINING WITH AN ASTRONAUT". We also didn't have enough time to do the things listed on the basic tour because we had to be ready for lunch as well as the bus to the launch pads etc.

The airboat safari was pleasant. Not as fast as I thought it would be although that may have had to do with the very young children on our boat. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Saw alligators, bird life etc. The Kennedy Space Centre was interesting although would have loved to be able to get to the astronauts museum and next door the Police museum, however advised no transport to these venues from the space centre unless in your own vehicle. Well worth doing we enjoyed our trip.

This took 21 hrs. Don't bother, the space centers good but not worth that sought of time!

Do NOT do this tour ! The bus trip was HELL - dirty, squashed, and took 5 hours each way. The NASA centre was very disapointing - there was zero adult content and very poor kids stuff. Worst experience I've had and makes me think twice before booking anything with Viator again!

Kennedy space centre was worth visiting. We were collected by transport on time and the driver was very informative. Time inside the centre was not enough. We will plan to visit it again in the near future.

Very good trip, driver was nice and funny (and fast :-)) Pickup time was almost precise, driver arrived less than 5 minutes later. He showed us some aligators during the journey. NASA is nice place to visit, IMAX movies are nice. If you want to visit Space Shuttle Experience, you should not go to Disney Parks first :-) It is fine, but Disney is much more adrenaline. The Saturn V rocket is awesome, it is much more bigger than I expected. And do not forget to touch the Moon! I think the Astronaut Hall of Fame is also good place to visit (in the end of tour). The timeline through the whole hall with interesting space and other events is nice. I rate this trip with 4.6 stars :-)

Doing what: Kennedy Space Center Day Trip with Transport from Orlando

We booked this as my husband was interested and i really enjoyed the day. We stuck by the itinerary the driver suggested and it was perfect, i think we missed out on the hall of astronauts - that was being renovated so no big deal. My husband would do the trip again - being a pilot he would have liked to have spent more time there - in saying that he loved the tour. The lunch was really good to, Bob Springer was lovely, he was very funny and it was a pleasure to meet him - it is not a one on one event, but when are you ever going to bump into some that has been in space? Think of some questions to ask him before going.

Brilliant. Great day -meeting the astronaut was fabulous and he was so friendly. Recommend the Ultimate experience to anyone.

Doing what: Kennedy Space Center and Everglades Airboat Safari from Orlando

Very nice and highly recommended. If you love nature then do it. The space centre was also great and very interesting.

It was very interesting and informative!!

It was amazing to see the gators in their natural habitat and then be blown away by the incredible things at Kennedy Space Centre. It was really worth the trip

The Kennedy space centre was great, something different to all the theme parks, and educstional for the kids.
If you didn't see alligators, the airboat trip wasn't very exciting. A shame

KSC is interesting and we all loved the Saturn 5 rocket and other displays. The space shuttle simulator experience was pretty good ( but not so amazing after three days at Universal!). Meeting the astronaut was good but we did not have lunch with him, so we can't comment. It will be even better when the shuttle is on show. Great souvenir shops! KSC was definitely a highlight of our Florida trip.
The airboat ride was fun - it felt very brief but was probably 45 minutes long. We saw very little wildlife and no alligators, which surprisingly disappointed the adults more than the kids. For me, not as fun as I expected.
The bus driver was friendly and helpful. The bus was a new air-conditioned coach.
The long trips from hotel to hotel to pick up passengers was mindnumbing, for us it was 1 1/2 hours before we were on our way out of Orlando.

We had a wonderful day. Lovely big and comfortable bus collected us on time from our meeting point and the driver interacted well with everyone and gave a good running commentary. Loved the airboat ride, great weather makes a difference and saw quite a few alligators. Dropped with plenty of time to cover the Kennedy Space Centre which was amazing. You do need a whole day to see everything. We even met an astronaut and it was fascinating listening to his experiences. The bus arrived right on time to take us back to Orlando.
