Great tour guide. Very informative. Excellent lunch

It was a very good experience. The tour was nice, very well organized and very efficient. The tour guides were professional, explained everything clearly, and had a very accurate timing management.
Thanks Viator and JTB for this wondeful trip.

the sights we visited were beautiful. The schedule for the most part was on time and we were able to accomplish a lot of things within the tie frame. The tour guide was kind and friendly :)

The tour was quite informative and land systematic. it would have been better if we were given more time to do a llittle souvenir shopping in every stop.

It was very good as we were able to visit many places. The tour group was just the right number - 6 people so we were able to interact well with each other. The tour guide knew her Japanese history and her humor made the whole tour fun. It would have been better though if the lunch served was Japanese food.

This tour is ideal if you have a limited time to visit, and want to see the highlights of Kansai region. The tour guides were very helpful and knowledgeable. It is well worth the cost and time. They keep you on a tight schedule, but the time allocated was adequate for our interests. The buffet lunch was just okay, though.

Good tour. I went on a Saturday, so no Imperial Palace as advertised. I would choose a different day if I could. Overall a nice tour.

EnterThe tour guide was very knowledgeable and his English was quite good. There were only four in the tour, so that was kind of nice because he was able to answer our individual questions without any problems. Having said that, I don’t think that the tour was worth what I paid. We really did not do all that much. The lunch at the Granvia Hotel was okay. Compare to other tours that I took with Viator, this one was too expensive for what we did. your review here.

Doing what: Osaka Full-Day Walking Tour with Osaka River Cruise

Of the many tours I took this was the most unsatisfying - but that is my fault for not doing the research first. When i spoke with an Osaka resident the day before the tour he asked 'Why?'.

The guide was great and did his best but quite simply Osaka just isn't a city that has enough to organise a tour around! There are no 'stunning views' from what is now just a 'quite high' office building... The 'castle' is a museum built 50 years ago and the river cruise shows you nothing.

Mich, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and fun. We would recommend him to our friends. The tour itself was quite average. The floating garden and Osaka Castle were good but the river cruise was boring and honestly a bit of a waste of time. It felt like the cruise could have been replaced with something better like a visit to the Museum of Housing and Living near the Osaka Castle which offers a combined ticket to both. The western lunch was not a problem at all for me but my husband thought it could have been better.

The guides are very professional and knowledgable in the respective locations we were shown around.

The only set back is the buffet lunch which I would rate as poor as there is insufficient variety and of minimal standard. We do not mind paying more if that means we can get better food, if cost is an issue for your company, not that the trip cost is cheap.

Overall experience was good. The tour guide spoke very good english. I would suggest though that other attractions like museums and parks be included in this itinerary.

Originally, I wanted a Saturday tour, but when my husband saw that the Saturday tour will not include Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace, two hours after booking we decided to change the date to Friday. We found out that viator.com cannot process that quickly. We were told that there will be a cancellation charge. It wasn't a cancellation but a change of date only. The places we visited were nice (though it might have been great if we saw the Nijo and Imperial castles instead) but the tour guide was not that articulate. The escort (the sweet lady who met us near our hotel and accompanied us to the meeting place of the group) was very accommodating and she speaks English fluently. The buffet lunch was just very simple. All in all, the tour did not meet our expectations.

Fantastic day with knowledgeable guides. Well organised tour. Everything went according to plan.
Lunch was excellent at the handicraft centre, offering a vast assortment of delicious Japanese and western dishes. Highly recommended.

The walking tour is great and the tour guide is very friendly. However, the cruise is a bit less interesting
