Doing what: Kyoto Full-Day Sightseeing Tour including Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple
Excellent. Interesting and well-organised. Our guide was top-notch and answered questions easily. Travellers should be aware of the variations due to certain locations closing on certain days and seasons though.

Doing what: Kyoto Full-Day Sightseeing Tour including Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple
I was in Kyoto for a business trip so only had very limited time for sightseeing. This tour was absolutely perfect for me and the whole day was extremely well organised from start to finish.
We had different tour guides in the morning and afternoon and both were very informative and entertaining.
The pace was just right for me, giving me the opportunity to pack a lot into the day but without feeling too rushed.

Doing what: Kyoto Morning Tour - Kyoto Imperial Palace, Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle
Excellent guide. I have done this tour a few times and always enjoyed it. In addition, the guide gave me directions to go where I wanted to go after the tour ended. Very helpful!

Doing what: Kyoto Afternoon Tour - Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo, Kiyomizu Temple
Again, a wonderful guide in Izumi. Very informative about the city of Kyoto and Japanese culture. Excellent sites to visit. Was particularly in awe of the one which no photographs were allowed at, ironically, Sanjusangendo. Definately a must see.

Doing what: Kyoto and Nara Day Trip from Kyoto including Nijo Castle
We went on the tour in september. There are several stops in the tour. The golden pavillion, imperial palace, nijo castle, nara. You get just enough time at each spot. All interesting in different ways. The tour guide was very nice and always gave clear directions and good explanations on each attraction.
There is no way you could do so much in such a short period of time without doing a tour such as this. Highly recommend if you are short in time in beautiful kyoto.

Our guide made the day super enjoyable.
It was well planned, and everything we saw was just beautiful. Effortless and easy way to see lots of Kyoto in one day.

Doing what: Kyoto Cooking Class, Sake Tasting and Nishiki Food Market Walking Tour
Was an awesome afternoon. We were the only people on the tour!!! We got to see what we wanted and learnt so much about Japanese culture, food, drink and how to cook it. To top it off once we had done our cooking we had dinner with our teachers. We felt part of the family. We would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience a little of the culture once you have seen all the sights!

Doing what: Kyoto Full-Day Sightseeing Tour including Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple
Tour was wonderful, very interesting, very informative, Tour Guide was very good......just didn't like the lunch arrangements...felt so confined, so squashed...so "Touristy"..meal wasn't enjoyable at all. The afternoon tour was also very interesting and informative..not sure if we didn't read brochure properly, but, wasn't aware that we were not being taken back to original bus terminal where we joined the tour. But, we had a nice walk to our hotel, which wasn't all that "that far" !!

Doing what: Kyoto Afternoon Tour - Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo, Kiyomizu Temple
This is a tour to three of the most wellknown shrines and temples in Kyoto. The way of this tour I would consider to be very ‘japanese’: travelling around in a bus, short stops and sightseeing, then the next bus trip. Explanations to every sight a given in the bus. If you want to enjoy this you will have to like this kind of express tourism. Besides that there were no problems. The organization was very good, one should only take care about the pick-up since if you do not care your pick-up point may be set to Kyoto main. With an (english) phone call that was easily solved. For a trip of four hours the price was ok, but as said: you have to like this.
