The bus goes where it says and runs as often as it says. The audio tour is minimal. It does not provide much information. Also, it was confusing because there is another company that runs a "Hop On Hop off" tour. You have to make sure you are trying to get on the bus run by this company. This is really for those who want a self-guided tour. It is not the same as the tours with a local guide.
Taking the tour was the best decision we made. We were able to see all we wanted to see at a fraction of the cost of Cruise-Ship arranged tours. We got on and off the tour right at the pier.
When you present a voucher from Viatours, be sure that the attendant sees the citysightseeing logo at the bottom of the page. We had to really insist that we had already paid and showed him that the logo matched the bus. Once he finally let us on the bus it was a good tour.
This tour was very fun and had a lot of information available. The bus was alwasys on time, eventhough they have some stops pretty far from the initial starting point. The group was easliy found as well. Olso is beautiful and I would recommend this tour to everyone.
Good coverage of main sights and informative commentary. A little difficult to find some of the stops.
Great tour and a wonderful way to see Oslo. We would highly recommend taking this trip to pack as much in in a short a time.
An absolutely briliant tour.We spent an hour in the beautiful Vigeland sculpture park. The city of Oslo itself is also a credit to the people of Norway- so clean too. We'd recommend all visitors to take this tour!
This went everywhere one would want to go in Oslo. I particularly enjoyed the stop with the Kon-Tiki and Maritime Museums. The buses were convenient and the route well done.
A very nice Hop-on Hop-off. We were on a cruise and we had only couple of hours in Oslo. So this was a good option. We went to places we wouldn't have visited on our own. And also we got to see almost the entire city. Only the thing is it goes in only one direction so if you have to go to just one stop before you have to go round the whole tour which takes more than an hour!
We had only six hours in Oslo, but the Hop-on Hop-off bus gave us the opportunity to see what we wanted without the hassle of finding attractions on our own.
