This was a lovely trip, was such a pity it was a little overcast on the day. If your going in thewinter months wrap up warm but the staff will give you blankets if you need! Make sure to get off at the Museums and definately visit the Fram Polar museum, great fun. Drinks and food on board are a little expensive (but then everything in Oslo is!) but tasty! definately worth a trip!
The trip was small and crispy. The staff was very friendly and answered all my queries with a smiling face. As I was in a hurry, this trip was ideal for me and easily covered most of the destinations in Oslo. I would like to recommend this trip.
Great way to see the best sites in Oslo in one day. A few locations were a bit rushed because there was much to see, but all in all, an excellent tour for the money. I definitely recommend it.
Unlike Copenhagen tour this one was much better. The shuttle was at the cruise terminal like we were told it would be. The cruise part of the tour was not very good - would not recommend taking the cruise part.
Good organized and fast paced trip seeing the most popular museums and sites. The tour guide was great and informative throughout and kept the tour on schedule. A great option to get your bearings and for those that don't want to spend hours in each museum.
I took this tour on my first day in Oslo, and it was a great starting point. The boat tour was nice, if cold (I was grateful that they had some fleece blankets on board, because the wind on the fjord was pretty chilly). I was a little disappointed that it was almost impossible to hear the tour guide at the back of the boat due to the wind and engine noise, though. The rest of the tour was very nice, if fast-paced. We saw several museums in 'highlight mode', hitting the key exhibits as we followed the schedule. It gave me a good idea of what I wanted to re-visit when I planned my remaining days, though!
Basically we had to duplicate part of a previous tour to get this one in and again our comments on the ship remain the same. Old tub! Museums were great and guides terrific.
Ship was pretty old and not very comfortable to sail on. Noisy besides and really poor audio from speakers. Hard benches, crates, also used to house life jackets were the seats. Pretty well had to stand up. Getting off at one point meant jumping over the rail, not easy. Location of embarkment not that easy to find as we were looking for something with Viator on it but there was not. When we did find the booth the clerks were very friendly and helpful.
A great tour of Oslo. It was amazing to see the fjords from the boat ride. The museum part was quite tight. Only 5-10 minutes time per museum to walk free without guide so someday we will have to go to the museums on our own with more time. Guide Veronica(?) was a professional. Excellent knowledge from her all the time.
Holmenkollen wasn't that breathtaking during summer, but the view from the mountain to the valley where Oslo is situated was amazing!
We saw so much in one day. Our guide Sandra was very kind and helpful. We had a great time. I like this combination of boat, bus and museums. The tickets for museum were included, so the price for this tour is reasonable. Highly recomended.
