My one regret is that I did not get to Ottawa earlier in the day so that I could do more hopping on and hopping off. It is a beautiful city and deserves a little time for discovery.
The Canadian Museum of Civilization is on the left bank of the Ottawa River in Gatineau. Nearby you’ll also find the Canadian Postal Museum.
To get here on foot from downtown Ottawa, cross the Pont du Portage or Pont Alexandra bridge and walk along Rue Laurier.
