The tour and cruise were an excellent overview of Ottawa. The guides described all the sights and provided a historical perspective. Hop-on Hop-off is a very convenient way to see everything.
Great way to spend a few hours. The Ottawa River tour is the one to take as you see a lot of the canal from the bus tour anyway.
A lot of stairs up and down to the water but the Captain called a taxi to pick us up at the dock in Hull as I have emphysema. Four star service I'd say. Take the longer river tour as the boat is nicer than the other company's.
This was really great. The tour guide was very friendly and informative, and the weather was great. I could not get enough of the history and di it all over again this weekend.
when we checked in the person working there forgot to give us a receipt to get on the boat cruise. The microphone did not work on the bus and we didn't know anything of what we were seeeing. We were told the wrong time the boat was suppose to leave and we rushed to get there and it didn't leave for another half an hour.
I only had one day for this as I came from Montreal and had to return there in the evening. You need at least 2 full days. Still I enjoed both especially the cruise. Lot of walking. Have good shoes and good weather. I had.
Excellent trip - saw everything you would want to see. Great to be able to get off and then back on. When purchasing on internet I didn't realise it was valid for my stay - not just one day. Perfect
Tour bus showed up right on time. People were very approachable and helpful with answering questions. Tour guides did an excellent job of introducing the city of Ottawa. Overall, a superb way of getting around in a strange city and making the most of your time!!!!!
Your tour folks were terrific. . I highly recommend your service. Thanks for helping make our Ottawa stay delightfull!! Great people who know your city!!
Bus could stop for a few seconds for the passengers to take a decent picture. I understand that safety is first and they do not allow for the passengers to stand while the bus is moving, hence they should give some passengers a chance to take a decent picture by stopping.
The hop on/off tour was interesting, and the cruise was interesting. The reason I have rated low is that the hop on/off tour didn't start until 10.00. we did a full loop, which got us back to starting point, and then had to wait for 20 -30 mins for the next one to start. We also had the cruise to fit in, and combining both due to timings was a bad idea - the last hop on/off was at approximately 3.00pm, and there was no cruise after approximately 2.30pm, so we hopped on to the war museum, had an hour there, before continuing on to the cruise at 1.30. We then couldn't hop on again as they had finished. It was a shame as the tours themselves were interesting, but there was no point in the hop on/off part.- I didn't feel the two tour timings meshed very well. The war museum was interesting but we only had 60 minutes there, and needed longer but we had already paid for the cruise so wanted to do it. Disappointing all in all.
It was our first time visiting Ottawa, and the tour bus guide was very knowledgeable about the various attractions. The river tour was also very good. My friends and I considered this tour very good value for money!
The day was perfect, a little too warm but still great. Tours were neat, clean and well narrated. A definite plus to a great stay.
