The drive through Paris in a double-decker bus with earphone narration was lacking in content. I expected a little history or story about each of the sights and was disappointed. It seems that the company should be able to do a better job with its presentation. The cruise boat was okay if you like being herded into a barge with 650 other people. It's too many people and too many languages. And again, my ear was stuck to an audio wand that needed updated information about what we were seeing. Dinner on the Champs-Elysees was nice, but we were left on our own to get back to our hotel. I don't mind taxi's but the description should point out you are on your own after dinner. It could make a difference to people.

The tour covers the inner city very well and the audio on the bus and boat are informative. The wait on the pier was very cold but this is a seasonal thing obviously. No problems in summer I presume. The final part which was the meal on Champs-Elysees could have been better. On a very cold night we dined in the glass fronted area of the restaurant . It was cold here and the main inner section which was warm and comfortable had plenty of free space.I would recommend this tour May to September for more comfort

This trip was well worth the money! I have been on tours before and this was right there. Excellent bus tour with various languages available, hitting numerous key sites, a long boat ride up and down the Seine picking up key sites with incredible views of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame in particular, and then a very nice meal that was all set up and ready to go at Chez Clement restaurant, one of my favorites on the Champs-Elysees. A colleague was with me from work on this trip and he too was very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff, the tour itself, and especially the dinner at the end. Great job!

christmas lights beautiful! Loved watching the traffic negotiate the Champs Elysee from the safety of the coach. The boat trip was pretty but the English taped commentary was disappointing. The meal was wonderful, but service was rushed and rude. Could improve on boat and restaurant service.

Arrived at address you gave for meeting point panic ! office closed had to go furthur down the road all is well Paris tour by night good River cruise good but alas all food and drink machines on board not working. Restaurant and meal on the Champs Elysee
excellent

The dinner at on the Champs-Elysees was great - a wide selection of entrees and beverages - great cuisine and service - the bus tour of the iiluminations left a great deal to be desired - could not see much - and the river cruise was OK - it was cold - and there was a great deal of noise from others

Doing what: Paris City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Great way to go around Paris main attractions easily. Best is to plan if you can visit other places while stopping at one of their stops. We spent a day going around shops at the Champs Elyses. For the rest, busses were always on time and a great service.

Grace K booked this for her mum and me. The offices where you meet are easy to find so no need to panic on that. Without wishing to sound too derogatory, we were shepherded to a certain piece of pavement to wait and chastised like children if someone for one moment stepped out of line...not impressed with that particular staff member...Our coach guide Claudio was really friendly and went through everything with people individually...whilst this took time everyone was clear on what they were doing...a good thing in a strange place for many. River Boat Trip was one of the highlights of the whole trip for me and my partner. Cruising down the Seine on a balmy October evening was a wonderful experience and everyone was just in a good mood. The coach trip was a little disappointing, on the basis that the only real illuminations were the views down the roads off the Champs Elysees. The meal at Chez Clement was outstanding quality and, were you paying for it separately, was also very good value. The only slight gripe there was that, with riverboat trip starting at 8pm and coach trip starting at 9.30...you didn't sit down to eat til 10.45pm...late dinner yes, but not that late maybe? This whole event was definitely very good value for what was paid for it, and with a few minor tweaks, would be a perfect way to see and experience Paris

excellent deal for the money- cruise at night was beautiful- and the food and service at the restuarant on Champs Elysee was very very good!!!

Lovely way to see Paris at night on a cruise. Be prepared to line up to get onto the boat, but lots to see. Dinner was brilliant and the Champs-Elysees is buzzing at night! Fantastic!

Doing what: Paris Walking Tour: Classic Paris

Very disappointing. didn't go to the Arc de triomphe, the champs elysees ro the saint chapel

I went back and forth on this tour..so after going on this tour. I wished I would have booked Viator dinner cruise instead. It was a very late when we ate at the Champs-Elysees..which was a great rest restaurant. It looked like you need to dress up more for the dinner cruise and you don't for this tour.

Take it or leave it. Cruise was good. Illumations tour was difficutl to see. Dinner on Champs-Elysees was actually inside in a resteraunt on Champs-Elysees. Would have been much better to be out on the street in the great atmosphere. Not sure why we had to dress up. There were no dress standards in the resteraunt and other peope on the tour didnt meet the dress standards but were allowed to continue on the tour. In summary, not worth the money.

We were very disappointed with this trip. Every boat on the river that night looked like the passengers had a better view of the scenery. with their open tops. It was so hot (with not water available in the vending machine) and crowded, very few people had a view of where we were going and were required to stay in our seats. The bus tour (in a closed up bus -- again if you didn't have the right seat, you couldn't see anything) of Illuminations didn't even show the Eiffel Tower's Light Show. The dinner was okay, and fun to end up on the Champs Elysees, but, without a doubt, everyone around us was commenting on what a wasted night it was and wished they would have just toured the city on their own. It prevented me from scheduling any other tours through Viator with confidence.

River cruise is really nice and well worth it.
Was disappointed with Paris Illuminations as it wasn't actually dark so was just like any other day time tour which we'd already done on an open top bus which was better.
Dinner on the Champs-Elysees, Chez Clement, I regretted this because we didn't get to the restaurant till about 10:15 so was STARVING, waiter took FOREVER to take our order despite it being a choice of 2 things off a set menu, was weak service (probably as we had already paid) I also saw a mouse running around! :s
Choose somewhere you actually want to eat with a fixed price menu, plenty places are much nicer and still affordable, failing that there is a Mcdonalds directly opposite!
