Very worthwhile tour which we took as an afterthought, but really enjoyed. Thank you, Sophia
Very informative and interactive, excellent,, the history is amazing.
Fantastic, It was our guide's first time and he was fantastic, he had so much knowledge and nothing was a problem. highly recommend.
Excellent tour. It was raining during the tour which took a little off it but the guide soldiered on and so did we. Guide was great
It was a very good introduction to this interesting area of Paris. Our guide provided us with snippets of information about museums, sites and shops which we could go back and investigate at our leisure. I would recommend this tour to any first time visitors to Paris.
Our guide, Gil, was very personable and knowledgeable. it was a small group and he kept it interesting and fun.
A tour like this is all about the guide - and ours, a Portuguese Parisien named Pablo, really was the best.
A fascinating tour through the heart of the French Revolution, which lots of background history brought to life to Pablo. We were amazed to find out at the end that this was the first time he'd given this tour - he really was a natural!
Definitely worth doing, but book a few days ahead and call the company who run the tours to confirm - we booked the night before through Viator and our booking hadn't reached the tour company, or our guide. We missed the start and he had to run back to get us - all done with great humour but it was a bit annoying for us, Pablo and the rest of the group!
Anyway, a great few hours and thoroughly recommended.
most enjoyable and very interesting seeing parts of Paris that you would not see and to be informed of its significance
What a beautiful section of Paris, our tour guide was very knowledgeable. and informative, and we enjoyed the history and flavor of the area.
A surprizingly informative and inspiring walk through history.
If you come in the later weeks of September you may find yourself with a very small group! I was the only one who signed up for the walk for my time, actually! This was really nice since I got to talk to my tour guide on a more casual and easy-going basis, and she gave a great idea of the history of the Marais district and where to go for really awesome falafels (Lenny Kravitz apparently goes there when he's in town) and some nice shops to hit up.
We had a really nice time. Learned so much about the revolution. We went by all the sites but it would have been nice to go inside. The walking was easy and our tour was on time.
Very good, we enjoyed it and the guide was good.
We have been to Paris 26 times and we learnedbsome history we had not known.
A little rushed. The information offered by the guide was common knowledge and offered no special insights. The walk itself was pleasant and the sights interesting.
A great introduction to Paris! Highly recommended. Guide (cannot remember name, but he was an American studying in Paris) was fantastic.
