The catacombs were very cool! The guide, however, seemed disinterested and couldn't translate most of the inscriptions inside the catacombs.

The catacombs were an amazing experience but the guide was a bit ditsy - constantly responding to questions regarding the catacombs with excuses about why she didn't know the information.

Laura was extremely knowledgeable and was very skillful in presenting the material. We enjoyed it very much.

A fantastic experience, very easy and organised our guide was wonderful and full of knowledge, thankyou

A great tour and well worth buying in order to skip a massive line to get in.

My friend and I took this tour last week. It was outstanding. I would definitely recommend the skip the line. The line was all the way around the block as far as I could see and they only let 25 people enter at a time. So I am assuming you could be there for hours based on that line. This was my second favorite sight to see on my trip after Versailles. You definitely must be in shape enough to navigate the stairs going up out of the catacombs. I had to stop very briefly twice on the way up. But I would do it again. A definite must see sight if you are visiting Paris!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Catacombs was an interesting tour through some of the history of Paris. This was not at all ghoulish rather a solution to a problem that is respectful to those whose remains are incarcerated there. This tour is probably not for you if you get claustrophobic as some of the passages are narrow and have low ceilings. As the ground can be uneven and damp in places, wear sensible shoes. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

This was a great tour! Our guide Marcus was well informed and provided excellent insight into the history of the catacombs. I would highly recommend this tour! C. Esling

Guide was sincere and helpful.
Definitely worth going - quite unlike any other tour you could go to. The line is long to get in but with the tour we walked straight in and you would miss out on so much without the guide to explain things.

We could have toured the Catacombs for a lower price, but we would have waited in line for a long time and not had the benefit of learning some of the background and details leading up to their creation. Our guide was knowledgeable about the site and forthcoming with lots of details. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.

a fascinating look at a part of Paris few see, very interesting and informative

Wonderful and we didn't have to stand in the long line to get in. There are over 100 steps to get into and out of the Catacombs and it is a very small space. Bring a flashlight.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Catacombs of Paris Small-Group Walking Tour

A must do, and skip the line is essential

This tour was fantastic!! Our guide was full of knowledge and did a wonderful job entertaining and informing our group. Definitely the way to see the Catacombs!

It was nice to be able to skip the line and go right into the Catacombs during a designated time. It was unfortunate that our guide didn't have a lot of details or more interest in explaining the information in which we were viewing.
