We were transported on a spacious double-decker tour bus to Giverny Gardens first. The English-speaking guide was kind and courteous throughout. After we were treated to a nice lunch at a quaint hotel/restaurant nearby with a picturesque water mill. Lastly we were transported to Chateau Versailles where again our guide took us on a tour of the main attractions of the palace. After we were free to roam the gardens outside for a bit before being collected and taken back to our point of origin at Cityrama offices in London near the Tuileries Gardens. This tour is perfect if you don't want to bother organizing transport outside Paris to see the gardens and the chateau.

Wonderful! A great itinerary. We enjoyed having time in the small town of Vernon to wander the market and purchase our picnic lunch. Our tour guide Andre was outstanding...he was fun and engaging and provided the little extras to make our picnic by the Seine memorable. The bike ride was easy and gave us a chance to see things you wouldn't see from a tour bus. Gardens at Giverny were beautiful even in early May and well worth the trip.

What a beautiful place! The pickup was late and then tried to make us get off away from our pickup point. She also made quite derogatory remarks about the area we stayed in. We only had two hours in Giverny and that is my real complaint YOU NEED LONGER THAN 2 HOURS.

This was a wonderful trip we first went to Giverny which was beautiful and very interesting to see. We then were taken to a lovely restaurant out in the countryside and the food was great. We then went off to Versailles and I would say that we could have spent a lot more time here, there is just so much to see. The tour guide could go in this place with us and she was very knowledgeable about the history and the furnishing and what is original and what is recreated. By the time we were done in the inside we only had 30 minutes to explore the gardens which isn’t enough time, but we still enjoyed the tour. The next time we come back to Paris I could do another trip just to Versailles to catch all the info I may have missed and to get more time exploring the outside. It was beautiful and the people that give the tours are very nice and easy to understand.

We were picked up exactly on time in the hotel lobby by our Italian driver Max who was a funny, informative fellow who fortunately knew Paris well and due to a riot in the centre of Paris was able to get us around and out of the city with the minimum of fuss. The whole tour was wonderful. We had about 2 hours at Giverny which for our level of fitness was just enough. The gardens were beautiful, full of late spring flowers and perfumes from the wisteria. I'd go again tomorrow if I could.

Great day. Drive to Giverny and Versailles was very relaxing. Both places were worth seeing, especially Giverny. Versailles, although crowded, was still interesting. Drive through the back roads and lunch was an added attraction which put the icing on the cake. It made you feel part of the French culture.

The driver was punctual and the timing of the trip to Giverny worked great. He also gave one of the other couples a mini tour of Paris returning to the city to help them out. Nice touch.

Absolute highlight of my trip to Paris! Would do this again in a heartbeat! Hard to leave Giverny - such a quaint charming little town. My guide was David and he made the day! Wish I could go back and do this tour allll over again.....!!!!!

Lovely lovely day. Our guides we so friendly, the Gardens are such a beautiful welcome after several days in the busy city of Paris. The country side is amazing, the Lunch was wonderful, delicious, and the wine was great as well. Versailles was lovely, although a bit busy and full of people for the afternoon...perhaps like previously suggested, it may be better to reverse the trip, Versailles early in the morning and Giverny in the afternoon...but non the less, a great trip...If you have the time , this is a wonderful day to break up your Paris stay. High recommended.

Giverny was lovely, the atmosphere is amazing. Auvers was pretty emotional, seeing the places Van Gogh painted, his room and his grave as well. The guide was really kind and knowledgeable.

There were only 5 of us in the small tour - exactly what we wanted. We started at Versailles before all the crowds arrived. Lunch was delicious. We walked right into Giverny, not having to stand and wait in lines at either place. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and showed us additional sites as we traveled through the French countryside.

While I have been to Paris multiple times, I had never been to Giverny and thought it was time to go. Because of interest in Van Gogh as well as Monet, I found this tour to fit the bill. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, accessible and fun. He was able to answer all of our questions, and even debated a bit about the Van Gogh controversy "murder or suicide?" Lunch was lovely, in a beautiful location, and it was a wonderful opportunity to get out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Great job.

Definitely worth visiting... stunning gardens and excellent views of the countryside as you drive towards this beautiful place. I'll also recommend this place for males -my partner was skeptical but also loved it. Every photo you take is memorable.
Love Monet and would have loved to have stayed in Giverny at Monet`s house and gardens all day. It was such a tranquil place and can now understand why Monet wanted to capture and share what he had seen, on canvas. Will always remember this tour and hope to go back again... one day :-)

The tour guide went out of her way to show our tour group other places of interest while driving through the countryside and allowed plenty of time to see Auvers sur Oise and Giverny.
