Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
This tour was very good. The tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable about Versailles and Giverny. He also gave additional information about the city of Paris that I had not heard on previous tours. Versaille was very crowded on this Sunday tour but it was be to expected during the height of the tourism season. I highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Giverny and Monet's Garden Bike Tour
Fabulous day trip - it was great to leave the city for a day and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside. Giverny is simply amazing and our guide was fantastic. Overall, an unforgettable day.

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
This was a great trip. The guide was very nice and I didn't feel rushed. Giverny was a lovely town and Monet's house was small but nice. The waterlilly ponds were beautiful. At Versailles the grounds were beautiful. It would have been nice to have more time but it was still nice. The guide did a very nice tour of the palace.

Doing what: Giverny and Versailles Small Group Day Trip from Paris
When we booked this tour with a minivan, we thought it would be with 12 to 15 people, but we were very pleasantly surprised when the small van picked us up at our hotel with only one other couple from Australia on board. Our driver guide, was excellent. We did the tour in reverse, arriving at Versailles early in the morning and getting in to do the audio tour of the palace before the large crouds arrived. And we had plenty of time to see some of the gardens. With the minivan and since we had some extra time, driver was able to take us on some country roads through the hills above the Seine River Valley, where we had some beautiful views. The lunch at Le Moulin de Fourge, a converted mill still with the old water wheel, was delicious. We sat with another couple from Australia and a couple from the US who have been teaching in China. We had some good conversation. We then arrived at Giverny, again before the tours arrived for the afternoon from Paris, so the stroll through the gardens was at our own pace and not crouded at all. Our guide gave us commentary as we travelled between places on the history of France and the French monarchy, and extensively on the life of Monet. We would highly recommend touring Giverny and Versaille by minivan since it it comfortable, not rushed and more enjoyable than if we'd been in a coach with 40 or 50 other people.

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
A wonderful day that was filled with beautiful sights and interesting information. While the Beauty of Versailles speaks for itself - the lunch location was like stepping into a movie. If you love flowers Giverny is the place to see.

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
On a short holiday to Paris this is a great way to fit in a jaunt outside the city and experience two magnificent locations! Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. She took great care of our group and made sure we were all looked after and accounted for. Giverny was tranquil and filled with beauty. Versailles was a treasure of opulence and history. Our luncheon was surprisingly elegant - 3 courses, along a picturesque riverside. All details of the day were finely prepared. The bus was a comfy ride home after a long day.

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
Our Tour Guide was awesome! Very articulate and her comments were interesting. We needed a wheelchair for one of our group. She worked tirelessly to get one for us both at Giverny and Versailles. It was very crowded at both places. She waited to make sure that we were within hearing distance throughout the Versailles Tour. She couldn't do enough for us! It was great! Thank you!

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
It was a wonderful day trip. I traveled with a girlfried and both of us loved Giverny. Make sure you have enough memory in your camera- the place is a feast for the eyes. We had a 3 course meal included in the package. The food was simple but still very fulfilling. Add to all of that, having a warm and very accommodating guide. She amused us with her wealth of trivia on the places we visited and the characters who lived in Versailles. I would highly recommend to anyone who can spare a day from Paris.

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Really liked our tour guide - her personality made the day special. Giverny was beautiful, as was the place we had lunch. Food was not great, but fine. We would have liked a little longer at Versailles. It was my favorite day in France.

Doing what: Giverny and Monet's Garden Small Group Day Trip from Paris
We had a wonderful guide who was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He was promptly at our hotel and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Giverny was one of my favorite parts of our vacation, lovely gardens and a quaint town. Not to be missed by any art or garden lover.

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
Great tour, a little long at Giverny but not terribly long. Both places are sights to behold and not to be missed! Guide was patient and easy to understand. I recommend this tour, our group only had about 20 people so it was really manageable.

Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
This was a great tour. The bus is very easy to find, right across from the Tuilleries Metro Entrance. We left promptly at 830. The guide pointed out many interesting things from the bus in English, French and Spanish. The bus trip was about 40 minutes to Giverny. We parked and walked a short distance to the entrance to Claude Monet's house. The garden was beautiful and amazing in mid-April. Tulips and flowers everywhere! Really much more beautiful than I expected. The house is in great shape. You could easily imagine the artist in his workshop. We were given about hour and 40 minutes to wander about, and the lily pond and Japanese bridges look exactly as they should. Such beauty! There is a small cafe where you can sit down and eat, or buy a snack to go. Good coffee. Then back to the bus and off to Versailles.
We arrived at 1pm. Once there, you eat as a group at a restaurant in the town. Lunch and wine are included in the price. You cross the road and have about 80 minutes to explore the Gardens. They are so huge that you will need every minute, but it is enough to poke around. Such a grand scale! The tour of the living quarters is very well done, with headsets so you can hear your guide many groups here. The Hall of Mirrors is a highlight. Wow! Once done, a quick ride back to Paris on the bus, and a very wonderful day, arriving about 6pm. I recommend this tour highly.
