This tour is a great way to get a quick overview of Paris so that you know what to come back to and explore in depth. The tour guide (Paolo) was very knowledgeable and also quite personable. There were quick stops at Notre Dame and Montmartre. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see a good bit of Paris in a short time.

Doing what: Paris L'Open Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour

The main route along the right and left banks was a great introduction to Paris. The other routes, such as the one that went up to Montmartre, were a waste of time.

Doing what: Montmartre and Sacre Coeur Walking Tour in Paris

Montmartre is a special artistic world, where Van Gogh, Dali, Modigliani (...)lived, painted, drank and fell in love with women, ...where narrow streets are charming...where old musician plays old unknown today instrument(???) and atmosphere is musical, bohemian, where fine art is not a chapter of the book but a living existence....The guide was a good story-teller who reminded me a character from the movie Midnight in Paris( I thought I was a character from Midnight in Paris) but to see someone else who is in love with Paris and Monmartre was quite a bit interesting....I highly recommend this walking tour( educational, intresting, inexpensive) that makes your body move and your soul sing!

The guide was very knowledgeable and I have an interest in the artists of that period who frequented the Montmartre area but I found it uninteresting nonetheless. I had booked for two but my 14 year old granddaughter did not attend, she would have enjoyed it even less.

Doing what: Montmartre and Sacre Coeur Walking Tour in Paris

Walking is definitely the best way to see Montmartre and this tour gave us the opportunity to do it accompanied by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Our guide, Gil, was American and had only been living in Paris for about a year but his knowledge of the area and its history was impressive. We would perhaps have preferred a little more discussion of Montmartre's 18th century history, whereas Gil focused a lot on the modern art movement, including street art. We would definitely recommend this tour - wear comfortable shoes and plan some time after the tour to visit one of the bistros or patisseries you will pass by as you walk.

The Eiffel tower dinner was really good value and the trip around the tower excellent. The river boat trip was equally excellent. Although the show at the Moulin Rouge was fantastic we were very disappointed at the lack of any desire/willingness for the accompanying people organsing the coaches to drop us back at or close by to our hotel about 2 km away in Montmartre. The attitude was very much you are closeby so you need to make your own way back. The estimated time we were given to walk back was grossly underestimated and we were not appreciative of being told we could walk back through what is essentially not such a good district of Paris at 0200 on a Sunday morning. This detratced grealty from what would have been an excellent experience.

Doing what: Paris City Tour by Minivan and Montmartre

Our Paris city tour was conducted in a mini van by Coco who was both entertaining and knowledgable about Paris. She hit all the highlights of Paris and gave us time in Montmartre, which was lovely. Congratulations on having such a great guide.

Doing what: Paris L'Open Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour

We paid for the two day ticket. We got on the bus at the Place De La Concorde on our first day handed over our printed ticket and was given our 2 day tickets without any fuss. The commentary is very good through the given headphones and we initially went on the grand tour which was very informative and took in all the main attractions along the Seine. We then spent the next 2 days visiting a number of the attractions, using the bus. We also did the Montmartre tour. Friendly and helpful staff, buses stopped very near to all main attractions. A must for first time travellers to Paris.

On time, but tour guide himself was not very enthusiastic. It felt like he was just mailing this one in, he just told us the very basics of the sites we viewed. There were many "uncomfortable silences" which we filled in through conversations with our fellow travellers. l will give ouir guide a positive comment for the fact that he did not drop us off at Montmartre as scheduled because of the heavy rain, he was kind enough to drive us back to our hotels or drop us where-ever we asked him.

Enjoyed this back side of Montmartre walking tours, but wished to get to Sacre Coeur from the Front. Should spend time (with extra fee and with 300 steps to clim up) for Wonderful

This is an excellent way to see part of Montmartre, and the pace is one suitable for adults. Our informative and friendly English speaking guide was excellent. As the path is mainly uphill on our way to see artists' studios, windmills, and Sacre Coeur, our guide stopped at various points to add his insights and stories about each place. After reaching the the church, the tour ends allowing visitors to go into the church, or wind their way back down to the main streets. The tour guide was able to direct us back to the starting point. Good value and a great guide.

The driver was a nice man but the trip was not at all what I expected. It appeared that Viator acts as a whole seller or clearing house for other local tour companies. There was a Spanish speaking only couple in the van who stayed with us for the first two hours so it was necessary for the tour to be given in Spanish and then English. The only other people, a couple, and myself were shown where to go in line for lunch at the Eiffel Tower and how to get ourselves to the Seine Cruise. It was the same process at Notre Dame and Montmartre. This experience was nothing close to a "small group tour" nor did it last 8 hours, more like 61/2 hours. I paid way to much money for what I received. I will be telling others about my very expensive "tour".

Doing what: Montmartre and Sacre Coeur Walking Tour in Paris

This tour was pretty good. However, on Sunday, May 1...a major holiday in Paris, Monmartre was wall to wall people. It was too crowded but luckily the places we walked to was not anywhere as crowded as the Montmartre town.

Greatly enjoyed the tour: the guide was excellent - informative and helpful, with a good leavening of humor - and we saw many aspects of Montmartre which we would otherwise have missed.
