Doing what: Paris Latin Quarter Walking Tour

Our tour guide was fabulous. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I had previously had him as my tour guide on my Montmartre Walking Tour, so it was like having an old friend to share this area of Paris with. If I had been in Paris longer, I would have taken every walking tour available!

Doing what: Paris City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

A great way to start your trip to Paris. Get your bearings & see the top sights. Does not include Montmartre, which is worth a metro trip.

Doing what: Montmartre and Sacre Coeur Walking Tour in Paris

Great tour, with a lot of really interesting stories and facts. I got way more out of the area, which is beautiful on it's own, than I would have walking through it on our own or with my guidebook. You'd have to be prepared for a serious walk. Montmartre is a hill after all but as long as you go in expecting that it's fantastic.

Doing what: Montmartre and Sacre Coeur Walking Tour in Paris

Excellent, entertaining, and informative tour. The insight into the various personalities who have graced Montmartre with their presence over the years was great, particularly the artists, such as Picasso, Braque, Modigliani, and of course Toulouse-Lautrec. The duration of the course was just about right.

Doing what: Montmartre and Sacre Coeur Walking Tour in Paris

Wish all of your tours were like this one. In fact, we just received an e-mail from our tour guide with all kinds of information about Montmartre.

This was a great little tour to learn about the inner workings of a boulangerie, and to see how much the French care/obsess over their bread and pastries. The tour guide was great, and there were only four of us on the tour. I cannot imagine many more people because it was already sort of cramped with just the few of us. We got to sample two types of bread, then received a baguette and croissant to go. All delicious. As some have said, the only hands on part is making the slits in the baguette. What most dont mention is 1) how important the slits are, 2) how many years French bakers take to perfect it, and 3) how difficult it is to do correctly.

The ONLY reason the tour does not receive five stars is because of the lack of information about the location. I guess one could call from abroad to get the location details, but I waited to call until we arrived in Paris. Turns out the bakery we were meeting at was in Montemartre, a decent way outside of the main tourist area. It was no real problem getting there, but location did throw off the well-conceived plans I had. If I had known I had to go to Montemartre for the tour, I would have planned on doing Montmartre that morning, instead of a few days later. Easy enough to readjust plans, but it did throw me off a bit.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the artists who lived there. He took us by some unexpected ways around the Montmartre district. He was prepared to give of his time but we had to cut short our tour as we had a dinner engagement that evening. This meant that the final visit to Montmartre church was quicker than we had anticipated. Overall a good tour for finding out about the background to the area and the artists who lived there

It was raining and it was very cold to be walking around for that day but after our first stop in a tiny restaurant for the wine and cheese, it was all worth it. The tour guide was very informative about the history of Montmartre and we despite the weather, this tour was worth it.

Doing what: Paris City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Hi, had a fantastic time, the bus helped so much. It made it easy to work out where we were and how to get back. However, I think it would be good to have a bus that goes to some other areas, as I had to take a cab or metro to Montmartre and St Germain. Those were two worthwhile areas. I noticed the yellow open bus had 4 separate tours. I hate to say it, but I think I would take that one next time as it was more comprehensive. Especially over two days. Thanks very much, I really did enjoy the tour. Regards Lee Melbourne Australia

Doing what: Paris L'Open Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour

Overall, L'Open tour was very good: green route excellent, blue and orange very good, but yellow route horrible (hour and a half wait in rain for one bus with no seats left, and awful tour through Montmartre). Skip the yellow route!

Doing what: Paris City Tour and Eiffel Tower Half-day Trip

This tour was well organized. Our section was only the city bus tour and the access to the Eiffel Tower.. To be honest, since we were in Paris only about 5 days, we thought the bus tour would bring us tomseveral of the areas we weren't planning to see on our own. This was true of only one area, however.. the end of the Champs Elysee and l'arc de Triomphe. We would have liked to go to more of the outer reaches of the city like MontMartre and The Luxembourg Gardens. That being said, the tour was fairly interiesting. The best part though was passing by the hour-plus long lines at the Eiffel Tower to get immediately to the second floor. That was very cool.

Doing what: Paris City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

First day in Paris and we were excited to see the major attractions. This was great viewing from the open top and we liked hopping off to explore Notre Dame, the Arch, etc. There was always another bus to hop on for further travel on the route. I wish Montmartre was an option here. This route can be done with a 2 day pass easily. Get tickets on line before you go to Paris so you will be able to hop on even before your hotel room is ready for check in.
