The Musée Rodin is the quintessential example of the treasures that Paris yields to visitors. It's an accessible haven of green space surrounding a historic building, that houses a world-famous, iconic work of art. That work of art is "The Thinker," and it's just one of thousands of sculptures, drawings and other works found there.

What even fewer visitors know is that there is a second location that is considered part of the Musée Rodin. This location is in Meudon, just a few minutes outside of Paris city center and is Rodin's former home. It has even more for you to see – without the queues and jostling at the city's more popular museums.

Doing what: Paris Pass

The Paris Pass is terrific. Our passes put us in the front of every line even when the lines were hundreds of people and even at one museum that was not included. The subway pass was for 4 days but actually worked a 5th day even though we used it extensively. The hop on hop off bus was a bit of a disappointment because there was a pre-recorded tour instead of a live guide. Overall it is a GREAT DEAL!
