Doing what: Paris' Pere LaChaise Gravestone Walking Tour

Jenny our guide was very good was a very interesting tour. Especially when on limited time they can take you to all the important graves most people want to see. Only thing I can see to improve would be be to provide a map of the cemetary at the start.

Doing what: Paris' Pere LaChaise Gravestone Walking Tour

The cemetery is a unique experience. The guide, Max, was exceptional in knowledge, interesting background stories, and was very personable.

An excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Interesting background stories on famous and not so famous people buried at Pere LaChaise, and the cemetery itself.

Doing what: Paris' Pere LaChaise Gravestone Walking Tour

Jenny was an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable and informative. Because of demonstrations going on at the cemetery, she needed to alter her normal route; she did so very competently. She was very pleasant and outgoing and really seemed to enjoy her job. We would be very happy to take another tour with her and will recommend this tour to others.

Doing what: Paris' Pere LaChaise Gravestone Walking Tour

Amazing cemetery. Was difficult to find meeting place. Think it would have been better to meet in front of cemetery entrance. Our guide was good. We had some trainees for the tour company on our tour and one was monopolizing the conversation and overtalking our guide. That was a bit annoying. The graveyard is huge. Many sites are in disrepair. Be warned: there is an active crematorium on the grounds that resembles the concentration camp ovens and when in use, ash exhaust is very visible in the air.

Very interesting alternative to the usual Paris attractions. Jimmy Hendrix, Oscar Wilde, Chopin and so much more.

Doing what:

Great walking tour and a lot of information on the life of Jim Morrison. If you don't know your way around Paris - this tour is very helpful, especially the cemetery - which is hard to find Jim's tombstone. I only got one free metro ticket and make sure you both agree on the exact spot to meet because there was a communication problem on that - the person should be easily identifiable.

An interesting tour that you should not really attempt without a guide if you want to get the best out of your visit and ever get out of the cemetry ! Our guide was excellent.

Doing what: Paris' Pere LaChaise Gravestone Walking Tour

I have always wanted to visit this cemetery. Our guide was very informative and friendly. This cemetery is on a hill and the ground is very uneven. She had us enter the cemetery from the rear and work our way downwards which was a good choice. Due to the physical demands I would only recommend this tour for strong walkers and those who are steady on their feet. A very good tour.
