Wonderful way to end our stay in Paris. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the top of the bus; it was raining and the coverage helped us enjoy the sites. Also, the river cruise was very enjoyable and we loved having a historical perspective from the narrator.

Doing what: Paris Express City Tour
We took this tour our first full day in Paris. It gave us a quick trip around the area to get us oriented and point out things we might not know about and otherwise miss. There was lots of traffic which seemed to keep us slowed down. However, were glad to be sitting and traveling as we adjusted to a different time zone.

Doing what: Paris Express City Tour
This tour used a guide tape to narrate the various sights. I thought the tapes were short and had long breaks between landmarks. During the breaks the tape "April in Paris" continually played. I liked the song before the tour, but during the end of the tour I had to remove my ear buds to avoid listening.

The River Cruise was fine and we all enjoyed it. The Paris City Tour was very disappointing.
First it was pouring with rain at start and we were made to queue outside the bus for some time while the girl in charge sorted out the tickets of those who got on. The commentary needs a great deal of improvement. A large part of it consisted of playing "April in Paris" over and over and over again. This time could have been used to give us more information about Paris in general and more on the areas we were passing through. The actual bus tour was one and a half hours and not 2 hours as in the information we were given.

Avoid at all cost, found the van, they told us to wait for the next one, 20 minutes later they said we were in their van, 1 hour after that we were still picking people up at CDG, 1.5 hours later were actually got out and walked to our hotel, first in the van, last off, almost 3 hours invested in this crappy overpriced service

Great to start with for the first time travellers...but a Hop On Tour is much better as you can catch the same from many locations and the coverage is wide...while in this tour one has to reach a pre-designated place and the route covered is just a small part of Paris....One can always do the cruise on their own without any hassle....

My husband and I enjoyed the River Cruise much more than the City Tour as there was no traffic and the view was open on both sides of the boat. Overall, this was a great way to begin our visit to Paris as it gave us an overview of the city and helped us to orient ourselves.

The Paris City Tour was a good tour to get oriented on the first day of your visit.. You receive earphones for the automated tour, on a double decker bus. Try to get there early to sit upstairs for a great view of Paris!
