Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
The palace of Versailles lived up to its advance billing - it is simply spectacular! Our guide did a wonderful job of providing interesting details and answering all of our questions. We were unable to make this trip when in Paris in 2010 but made certain that we could attend this year. This trip is simply a "must see"!

Doing what: Paris Paradis Latin Dinner and Show
The Paradis Latin show is a Paris institution - and I'm so pleased we managed to fit it into our trip as it didn't disappoint! The show was really entertaining - as well as being very well choreographed. Each segment was quite different from one another, so you really didn't know what was coming next. The dinner was great, with plenty of wine, and we were very well looked after. I highly recommend this for an entertaining night out in Paris.

Doing what: Paris Chocolate and Pastry Food Tour
This tour was a fantastic and different way to see Paris. Our guide Antonia was wonderful - and gave us some really nice insights into the local area. It was great to know about the best chocolatiers and pastry shops that I never would have found on my own. I couldn't believe how many tastings we got. A must-do on any trip to Paris!

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris by Minivan
We had a wonderful tour of the Champagne region! Our tour guide, Frederick, was excellent -- very personable and knowledgeable -- and great at navigating his way in and out of Paris and around the countryside. We enjoyed a stop at Reims cathedral -- it's extraordinary, especially the Chagall stained glass windows. Then it was on to a tour and tasting at a small producer in Ay -- Pierre LeBeouf. Absolutely fabulous champagne! We learned a great deal about the process of making champagne, what terms such as "Grand Cru" mean, etc. After a fun lunch with our group in Epernay, it was on to Moet and Chandon for another tour and tasting. The tour, even with some rain along the way, was just fantastic and our group of six provided great company. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you can get Frederick as your guide! This tour was a highlight of my trip.

Doing what: Moulin Rouge Show Paris
Deifinitely an experience worth the time and money! We attended the late show (11pm) and were a little tired after a long day of exploring paris but still found the show very exciting and entertaining. We arrived early and still had to wait in line outside. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Louvre Museum Walking Tour including Venus de Milo and Mona Lisa
The only downside is that being an evening tour, you tend to forget how your concentration levels flag at this time of the day so the sheer wealth of information thrown at you in the next 2.5 hours can be overwhelming. The Louvre is HUGE. It was enjoyable still and I left envying our delightful guide her ability to jam pack so much information in her head. Do remember, especially if you've already spend the whole day on your feet running up and down Paris, that this tour will keep you on your feet marching down the many galleries and hallways within the Louvre. So if you're of the older generation or from a part of the world where walking comes second to driving, don't pack too much in before your Louvre tour! My feet were killing me by the end of it. The tour guide does concentrate on the main attractions so for newcomers, your 2.5/3 hours are used to ensure you see the most well known attractions and can now happily contribute at the next dinner party when Paris comes up! :) However, there is simply no time to wonder at other curiosities that aren't on the agenda I'm afraid. Highly recommended though! :)

Doing what: Paris Paradis Latin Dinner and Show
Excellent show. The service was second to none - staff were polite and eager to please. This was a real taste of Paris - the food was excellent as was the 'champagne'. The show itself was entertaining - lots of different acts and all of it up beat - Definately recommend this one for a good night out in Paris.

Doing what: Moulin Rouge Show Paris
Best Cabaret Show I´ve ever been to. No problems with my prepaid Voucher. The 11pm show started on time, entrance to the theater was very organized (no camaras allowed - you can drop them at the entrance, and pick them up on your way out. We where seated above most of the people in the room, right in the center. Everything exceeded our expectations. VERY VERY highly recommender for someone visitng PARIS. Advise: Book in advance (as far out as 1 month, as shows fill up very quickly)

Doing what: Bateaux Parisiens Dinner Cruise on the Seine
Of all the things my wife and I did while in Paris, booking our dinner cruise with Bateaux Parisiens was the best! The landing is at the foot of the Eiffel Tower so it begins and ends with a picturesque setting....Our meal was perfect - rivaled the dinner we had the night before at a 5 Star..... add in the Seine and the landmarks lit up at night ......and you have perfection! If you do nothing else while in Paris, do yourself a favor and book this cruise!

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris by Minivan
This tour was one of the best ones we did. Seeing the Moet house as well as the smaller champagne makers was incredible. The country side was beautiful. Our tour guide made sure he stopped to show us the amazing churches and history along the way. He even gave us some great tips on what to do in Paris while we were there. Amazing tour.
