Doing what: French Wine Tasting in Paris
Probably our favorite thing we did in Paris. The location was a little tricky to find, however, the wine restaurant was extremely impressive. Private tasting area- we only had 5 people in our class- we liked the small class size. The amount of food and wine we got was VERY GENEROUS. Our sommelier was intelligent about all the French Wine Regions and we learned a lot. This course is definitely for those interested in French Wines who are confused about how to order them! We have since fallen in love with Sancerre Wines!

Doing what: Paris Chocolate and Pastry Food Tour
This was a really great way to experience Paris. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, not just one on food but also on the history and the landmarks we passed on the tour. And, of course, the chocolate, bread, and pastries we sampled were amazing.

Doing what: Pastry and Dessert Course in Paris
Fantastic! I would highly recommend this tour to families with teenagers. We all love to make desserts at home. The class was so much fun and we all got to help. Our chefs, Genevieve and Annelise were great and sent us home with all the food and recipes. I think this was something our kids will always remember about their first trip to Paris.

Doing what: Paris Chocolate Walking Tour
best tour done to date - real chance to walk in the shoes of the foodies in Paris. Guide Myriam was brilliant - if you only have time to do one tour, do this one. Lots of free tasting!

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
Our tour was excellent! We tasted amazing Parisian foods and learned how and why food plays such an important role in French culture. Our tour guide was very educated, spoke very fluent English, and demonstrated she cared about each of our experiences--she was even willing to cater to the group's interests. The group size was appropriate--just 7 of us. Would definitely recommend for a bit of an "off-the-beaten" path experience!

Doing what: Small-Group French Cooking Class in Paris
I had a wonderful experience with Chef Marthe. The market tour and the cooking lesson were inspiring. Chef Marthe's care was evident in her choice of recipes, quality of ingredients, and detailed and easy to follow instruction. The meal we cooked was delicious. Our conversation was warm and casual and I would do a class again with Chef Marthe. An added bonus was to go to Aux Gateau du Pain around the corner from her apartment to purchase a baguette for the meal. Oh my!!!
I was only in Paris for about 10 hours before the class, and it would have been very helpful for Viator to suggest an easy route for me to have taken to get to the class.

Doing what: Learn How To Make French Macaroons in Paris
What a great experience! I LOVED it! It takes place in an old Parisian apartment. We were three to attend the class. Marthe has absolutely everything to cook properly and about 250 cooking books! We made raspberry macaroons and milk chocolate and coconut macaroons. Marthe shown us and then it was our turn. I didn't feel so confident at the beginning but with all her advices and great tips I managed it pretty well - Macaroons looked amazing! I had such great time learning how to make them. It is definitely a great tour to do while in Paris as it is So French! I am going to make macaroons for my friends and I hope they will look as good as those ones do!

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
Tour was outstanding. Yves, our guide, was fun, knowledgeable and provided a very entertaining morning. Not only did we learn about the various foods on the tour, he showed us where scenes from Midnight in Paris and other movies were filmed and gave us the lowdown on many local sights, including churches and and historic homes. A thoroughly enjoyable outing!

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
What an unexpected highlight of Paris this tour was. Our tour guide, Marian, was absolutely charming and so friendly, bubbly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We sampled all kinds of cakes and pastries, seafood, Olive oils, cheeses, breads, coffee, small goods and wine. All in a wonderful atmosphere. We were only in Paris for two days but this was the highlight of our stay. Marian was also very knowledgeable about the area and it's history which only added to the enjoyment. I'd highly recommend this tour as it gives you a true taste of what we all expect Paris to be. Thank you.

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
What a fantastic way to experience the food scene in Paris. I absolutely loved the Latin Quarter, it's open markets and the wonderful specialty food shops we were introduced to. I liked experience food through the eyes of a French expert, as they knew exactly where to go and showed us the diamonds in the rough. Our guide, Yves was approachable and interesting and showed us other cultural/architectural sights in Paris besides all the food. I really enjoyed the whole tour and got to bond with my fellow tour-goes who were from all over the world. I would absolutely do something like this again, next time I'm in Paris. A+!!!
