Doing what: Paris Chocolate and Pastry Food Tour
Our guide was fantastic - she introduced us to so many food options in Paris while we walked the streets not just the chocolate and pastry items that we ate - and they were VERY good!

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
Almost a must for "foodies" in Paris the first time. Jennifer was a delight. Well worth the cost.

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
We took the Gourmet French Food Walking tour in November, during Paris off-season and were the only ones on the tour, two adults and an 11 year-old. It is important to note going in what this tour is, and what it isnt. While food is a focus of the tour, it is not the sole element. There are equal parts food, architecture, history and culture. It is nice to get out of the monuments section of Paris and enjoy some back street strolling. If that appeals to you, this trip is for you. Just dont expect three hours of non-stop tasting and sipping. All of the shops from which we obtained food and wine were fabulous, and justifiably famous. Watch any current travel show on Paris that touches on cheese and I guarantee that you will see the cheese shop that is featured on this tour. I think of this as a neighborhood tour of the 5th Arr. with culinary highlights thrown in and youll understand whats in store. The guide was focused, knowledgeable, pleasant, and very informative. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
Our guide, Marie-Cecile, was great. She was extremely knowledgeable, both about gourmet foods, and about Paris in general. She was a very well-educated guide who obviously loved her city and knew it intimately. We learnt much about Parisian gourmet foods particularly cheese that we couldn't possibly have learnt any other way.

Doing what: Champagne Tasting on a Seine River Cruise
The champagne cruise was a fantastic way to see some of the sights in Paris and obtain some fabulous photos. There was plenty of champagne for all, as well as some delicious sugar cookies. Our champagne expert was incredibly kind and informative. I met some really nice people. Plus, how cool is it to say that I've been on a champagne cruise on the Seine in Paris. I highly recommend this trip.

Doing what: Pastry and Dessert Course in Paris
This course was one of my top three experiences in Paris! It was absolutely amazing and after seeing so many churches and so much art is was wonderful to do something hands on. And while friends and family love photos, there's nothing better than letting them have a taste of Paris. In just under three hours we managed to make creme brulee, chocolate lava cakes with a bananaavocadocitrus juice sauce so good. Each tasted so delicious, the creme brulee was my favourite. The teacher, an American chef who has worked in Paris for the last three years, also passed on her wealth of knowledge, teaching us cooking techniques and tips that will ensure superb results in future endeavours in the kitchen. Do no hesitate to take this course! Just be warned that it's highly likely you'll walk out with a sugar high!

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
What can we say - absolutely the very best tour around. Our guide was perfect - she was able to spend the entire day with us since she was also the guide for our second tour of the day. She was knowledgeable, friendly, warm to us newcomers, and patient with our questions. She showed us parts of Paris that we would have never seen without her. The food shops we visited were off the beaten path, so we were able to see how local Parisians live and shop. We are so glad we chose this tour - it was a true highlight of our 25th anniversary trip to the City of Lights!

Doing what: Paris Chocolate and Pastry Food Tour
It was an enjoyable way to experience how Parisians might actually live. We visited four chocolatiers. Each had their own distinctive products. We went to two bakeries, and one gourmet food shoppe. We had samples in each facility. The guide was interesting, although a bit hard to understand. We were glad we did this tour.

Doing what: Paris Chocolate and Pastry Food Tour
Our guide was so sweet and truly loved her city. Not only did she do a great job of showing us around the patisseries & chocolatiers, but she took us on a side tour of Jardin du Luxembourg, which was lovely. It wasn't just a tour of chocolate and pastry, but a telling of the history & culture of Paris via their foods. Definitely a must-do.

Doing what: Paris Chocolate and Pastry Food Tour
The best trip my husband and I took in Paris! The guide met us at La Maison du Chocolat, and we felt already like locals. We went to several different chocolate stores, including Pierre Herme, and a bakery. We sat and had very strong coffee and chatted. The French get a bad rap fro being rude, but every store we went to was so inviting. Walked all though town. The guide was great with history and current events. The food was fantastic--don't shop for chocolate until you do this trip. Highly recommended!

Doing what: Paris Chocolate and Pastry Food Tour
The chocolate and pastry food tour was amazing, money very well spent, I have to say. Our tour guide was fantastic, giving us lots of information on not just the tour but the whole of Paris and it's surrounding area. She also suggested some wonderful things to visit such as Mont Marche and this wonderful cafe/restaurant called Angelinas. She was both helpful and friendly. With there being only four of us on the tour me, my boyfriend and another Australian couple the whole tour felt very personal. Thank you for a fun, friendly, informative and tasty experience.

Doing what: French Wine Tasting in Paris
Great education, and more importantly great wine to taste. Yeah the area was seedy but not a bad area, very bohemian. Funky. The loft was nice, and the whole experience was well done. Well worth the time and price. Even if you're not a foodie, a wine tasting in a Paris loft is cool, and this one is very much worth it. We would do it again; in fact we are going to next year.

Doing what: Paris Food Walking Tour: Gourmet French Food
My daughter and I were the only two on the tour, and it was therefore tailored for our preferences. Our guide was absolutely terrific. She showed us so much more than just the food of France, which was fabulous. She was worth her weight in truffles. Wonderful insight into what living in Paris is like. Thank you so much.
