Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris by Minivan
It was very well conducted and enjoyable. The contrast between the large commercial producer and the small family winery was fascinating. The only negative was unavoidable - it is a log drive to the region from Paris. Taking us on the more scenic backroads did alleviate this.

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris by Minivan
This was our first time in Paris can't wait for the next. The wine tour of the Champagne region was excellent! It was the only planned event of our trip plans are for when spontaneity doesn't work out as we were not looking to go on any forced marches. And we never felt as such on this day trip. Our guide was attentive, charming and his historical knowledge of dates and places really added to the overall experience. The other members of our group were the finishing touch, the pice de resistance. Our goal was to learn about the production process, take in some of the wine country, see the sites of Epernay and Reims, and to sample good champagne of course! We met our goal and then some. To make the experience all the more memorable, it was harvest, with the vineyards full of workers gathering grapes. Thank you for providing a wonderful memory for us. Looking forward to the next time!

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris by Minivan
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip mainly because our guide was polite, considerate and knowledgeable. We were a bit late due to the traffic in Paris and for this reason we didn't have much time to really visit the Cathedrale de Reims. I would have prefer spending more time there and skip the tour of the first Champagne house.

Doing what: French Wine Tasting in Paris
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting. We scheduled it for our first day in Paris so we would be familiar with some French wines. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining and the wines including champagne were delicious. The cellar setting was authentic and cozy. It was located just blocks from our hotel in the 1st district-just off Rue de Rivoli. There were about 16 people in attendance mostly from US. We would definitely recommend this trip. Booking it was so easy on line.

Doing what: Champagne Tasting on a Seine River Cruise
The champagne cruise was a fantastic way to see some of the sights in Paris and obtain some fabulous photos. There was plenty of champagne for all, as well as some delicious sugar cookies. Our champagne expert was incredibly kind and informative. I met some really nice people. Plus, how cool is it to say that I've been on a champagne cruise on the Seine in Paris. I highly recommend this trip.

Doing what: French Wine Tasting in Paris
The French wine tasting in Paris was incredible. The sommelier was so knowledgeable but not at all snobby. He was humorous and charismatic which made the experience all the more enjoyable. We had the pleasure of being the only couple there for the tasting so the experience was tailored to our wine preferences and knowledge of wine which I must admit was very limited, but with the quick lesson somewhat less so now. I would highly recommend this for anyone visiting Paris regardless of their relationship with wine. It was definitely a highlight of my trip, I can't say enough good things about it, tremendous value, tremendous experience!

Great education, and more importantly great wine to taste. Yeah the area was seedy but not a bad area, very bohemian. Funky. The loft was nice, and the whole experience was well done. Well worth the time and price. Even if you're not a foodie, a wine tasting in a Paris loft is cool, and this one is very much worth it. We would do it again; in fact we are going to next year.

Doing what: French Wine Tasting in Paris
My husband and I have participated in wine tastings before, but this one at a Paris wine loft tops the charts! The youthful owners, and particularly the presenter, helped us gain an inside track and confidence in purchasing and tasting wine, both in Paris and beyond. We also enjoyed meeting other participants from the States, and sharing our experiences with wine. I only wish the presentation had been longer. Cheers!

This was an enjoyable and educational experience. The information gained helped in the selection of French wines for the subsequent time spent in Paris. Facilities are basic and the experience is in a not-so-desirable part of Paris.

Doing what: Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris by Minivan
We had a beautiful spring day, although it was still rather cold. The trip through Epernay and the vineyards was beautiful even though there are not any grapes growing at this time of the year. The guide was great! Enthusiastic and alert for the full 12 hours of the tour. The visits to the champagne houses were interesting and the champagne was especially good in the house of Vadin Platue. Lunch was good and transport was comfortable. Well worth doing, it is amazing that just 1 hour of travel from Paris takes you to such a completely different place.

Great fun! We were in Paris for 4 days and I was delighted to have booked this. It was just a bit different from the run of the mill attractions and I would highly recommend it. We had the wine and cheese lunch by the way. Lasted around 2 hours. Tasted I'd say 6 or 7 wines each. Very nice and found the somellier very knowledgeable.

Great way to spend time in Paris. Wines were good, cheese tasty and the instruction was superb. Delivered by a witty sommelier who spoke excellent English. And to top the day of - England beat Tonga!
