We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Giverny and Auvers sur Oise. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. We were provided just the right amount of information. She was quite patient in handling the many questions of an inquisitive passenger. The tour was kept on a reasonable schedule.
Great tour because the tour guide was so knowledgeable. Tour well organized and informative..so glad we took a chance by booking this tour. We will never visit an art museum agai. Without a guide!
Very Good. Wish we had more time!
Celine was fabulous, so knowledgeable and very personable! It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the boat ride and our guide on the boat was wonderful as well. It was a peaceful day and we could see why Monet spent his days painting in the beautiful Giverny.
An excellent afternoon that we won't forget. The driver was punctual and friendly. The transport was comfortable and we were given a thorough look at the area by a well-informed driver. Highly recommended.
This was by far the best tour guide ever! Olivier was passionate, knowledgable and so energetic, it made the fact the we were in pouring rain and walking up hills actually enjoyable. Would not have been possible if not for this terrific young man! Only criticism is the fact that I saved going to the musee d'orsay for monday after Oliviers terrific tour because that is how it should be done- HOWEVER did not read the fine print which states that the museum is CLOSED on Mondays!!! Since was leaving the next day, could not utilize the tickets!! Good news is that they are good for one year and can be given to anyone BUT missed seeing this very important museum. So take the tour, request Olivier but not on a Monday unless you can go another day.
Lucky for us we happened to be the only two people on the tour. Our guide was excellent, prompt and interesting. His English was excellent. We would definitely book with Viator again.
Wonderful guide, amazing sights.... Giverney is like walking through beautiful art, auvers sur oise is moving. Make sure to go out front!
We were met by an amazing young French women who was our guide for this tour. She was very informative, very patient, very charming, and we loved every minute of the time we spent with her. We are both in our sixties, and slow to move, and she was very responsive to our needs. The tour took us through the heart of Monmarte, and the commentary was fantastic. We are very interested in Impressionist Artists and this gave us a huge insight into the haunts and homes of these artists. Our tour guide then took us via the Metro the the Musee d'Orsay where we spent the remainder of the afternoon. Would highly recommend this wonderful walking tour of the most gorgeous part of Paris.
The driver picked us up on time and we had an enjoyable drive to Giverny with the driver sharing his vast knowledge of Monet, his family and other impressionists. The garden was everything we hoped it would be. A particular. Surprise was the museum. We weren't particular bothered about it but went in as we had time and really enjoyed the paintings there
Absolutely superb day. Really organised and on time. Excellent walk through gardens and home followed by a glorious lunch together afterwards. The cruise was fabulous too and really informative. All up, I would thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in a day of Monet and Impressionism.
Absolutely fantastic tour!
Very good guide..we were very pleased
Giverny is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and we had a beautiful afternoon exploring house and garden, as well as complimentary tickets to a nearby museum. We were picked up at our hotel, and dropped off afterward, which was WONDERFUL, and our driver acted as something of a tour guide, pointing out places of interest with bits of history in an engagingly cheerful way. All of us thorougly enjoyed the afternoon.
An great tour of an old area of Paris. Our guide Tim did an excellent job. He provided a great deal of insight to the area and its history. You'll find the Moulin Rouge, areas where the Impressionist painters got their start, as well as Sacre Coeur, the church that overlooks the city. The area is dotted with cafes and shops. If you wanted to get a feel for the real Paris it's a very worthwhile tour.
