We enjoyed our day with the guide and she was careful to speak clearly so the non-native English speaker could understand her clearly. She also advised us regarding our plans for the rest of the day at the D'Orsay so we could see the rest of the art in the time remaining after the tour ended. We recommend this company highly and agreed that our guides were very knowledgeable and well spoken.
This was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I had visited the Louvre once before a decade ago and I suffered thru the wondering walk around a million paintings and sculptures half lost half amazed until my feet hurt and I just wanted to be back in my hotel room lol. This tour is efficient but not rush. Shows you the highlights but shows you more things you may have missed otherwise. I really enjoyed how we started and ended the tour. To start - we took a very uncrowded entrance that lead past the original city walls of ancient Paris now underground and underneath the pyramid to the main entrance of the museum. Very cool. Then we saw the highlights and dealt with some crowds...this was when my feet started to hurt hah! But just toward the end. Standing room only during the summertime! But once we hit the highlights we ventured off into the Napoleon Apartments - something TOTALLY different than the main part of the Louvre and not what I was expecting. Overall I really thought this tour was perfect unless you were hoping to spend more time in the Louvre, but that just depends on how into art history you are I suppose. I think at the end you can just wander off from the tour group if you feel you didn't get to see everything.
The guide we had was very good. She explained the significance of various pieces in the museum. Only problem was it is a lot of walking from one floor to another. If a person has mobility issues it could be a factor here, alot of stairs.
Excellent tour guide! She knew her way around the museum and made sure we visited every collection. She had a great deal of knowledge of the artists and the time period that they lived.
Very knowledgeable guide, great to learn so much about such a beautiful building, would recommend the tour.
We had David as our photographer and he was brilliant! We had so much fun doing funny poses, jumping in the middle of the street while the traffic was stopped as well as some romantic, cuddly/kissing photos. David asked if there was anything in particular we wanted and we got it and so much more!!
This was our favorite. Our guide was a lovely French woman, who took us to the bakery that won Best Baguette in 2015, we all shared the baguette while she explained how they select the winner, by smelling the bread, crunching it, and of course tasting it!
Walking through Montmartre, it was amazing see where Picasso, Van Gogh lived and the various places where many artists got inspiration for their paintings. The best part is going into Musee d'Orsay and seeing their masterpieces.
Lovely setting. Delightful guide. Plenty of time to tour at our leisure without having to deal with lines.
Great trip. We had a great guide (sorry forgot her name) who provided great insights all the way to Giverney. Giverney itself is beautiful and Monets house and gardens stunning. We were blessed with a warm sunny day. Highly recommend.
Doing what: Giverny and Monet
Belen is one of the most enthusiastic, educated, engaging people I have ever met. She inspired us with her knowledge, comforted us with her kindness and made the entire Paris experience one we will never forget. While there is beauty every where you turn in these museums, it is easy to miss out on the history, the techniques, the back story and learning as we went enriched our experience. Maybe it was Belen but I encourage anyone going to book a tour with her. She was fabulous!!
Excellent way to visit the Louvre for the first time.
A lovely fall day to wander the streets of Montmarte! Our guide was very knowledgable about the area and the artists who made this their home. It is a difficult place to walk if you don't know where you are going. We saw both windmills, the last vineyard in Paris as well as import ants homes and artist studios. Great views of Paris and it added to our afternoon visit to the Musee d'Orsay-must do!
This was a great tour. Went with my husband and 18 year old daughter. Guide was very informative and made the tour very interesting. Our tour lasted about three hours. So worth the money. We would never have been able to view the Louvre on our own.
Magnificent, the tour was perfect but u might need to stay time after the tour to check more places in the museum
Superb. Very interesting and informative, without information overload. Our teenagers really enjoyed the tour.
We totally enjoyed the tour - our guide was knowledgeable and charming. So glad we found this tour option. Also loved the museum. Thank you so much.
Our guide Chris was terrific!
Our tour left Paris on a drizzly Friday afternoon. Thankfully the weather was perfect when we arrived, we were very lucky.
The grounds were fairly quiet and I was lucky to get lots of photos without people in the background. I wasn't expecting that. what a bonus! It was so peaceful and you could certainly wander through the gardens all day there is so much to see.
The gardens themselves were better and more beautiful than I expected. There were flowers still in bloom, even though it was mid October and the stunning colours of the autumn leaves only added to the beauty.
The house was stunning and fairly easy to move through. Wow the views from the windows, how gorgeous. I recommend taking photos through the windows and use the window as your frame, the photos will be stunning.
The gift shop is worth a visit, I bought some calendars and regret not buying a print or two.
This tour is well organised and the tour director gave us perfect instructions on how to navigate the gardens ourselves or gave us the option of joining her on the tour. I opted to navigate myself and I am glad I chose this option because I could spend as little or as much time as I wanted in each area. She also gave us instructions on how to return to the bus and at what time.
This is a well organised tour. I highly recommend it.

I have earlier submitted the review and pressed the submitted button before completing the next review. It disappeared from my desk top. Web master should retain the earlier submission of this tour.
The tour was wonderful! Very informative and entertaining! Be sure to take it!
This was just what we wanted
Fantastic 3 hour tour at the Louvre with a fabulous guide who spoke English clearly, slowly and was happy to answer questions. Although there were 25 on the tour the audio earpieces worked well a necessity in a crowded art museum. Only concern was the slow start after some took up the offer to go to the toilet before moving ahead. Otherwise, brilliant.
By far the best decision we made. The guide was beyond superb! You can't possibly appreciate this museum without this tour!
Marion was very knowledgeable and interesting. We saw parts of the Montmartre we would have ignored. Plus, she knew the best bakeries.
