Visiting the Champagne Region from Paris

The Champagne Region of France is the perfect side trip for the Paris visitor – different enough to give you a good idea of what’s happening outside of the City of Light, but close enough not to take up precious vacation time getting there and back. Here are some tips for visiting Champagne.

Why should you visit the Champagne Region?

First and foremost, as said above, you won’t spend half your vacation getting there and back to the city you’re most likely flying in and out of – Paris – which makes it doable even for first-time visitors to France. You can even do the region as a day trip from Paris! It also has a solid mix of things to see and do, so it won’t be a waste of your time away from Paris. And finally, it’s called Champagne for a reason – why wouldn’t you want to go to the source of the world’s favorite bubbly beverage?
