Doing what: Monkey Beach Excursion including BBQ Lunch from Penang
We were picked up from the hotel and taken to the lobby of another hotel. We were then taken to the beach and dropped off without telling us what to do, except "wait for boat here". After 45mins of waiting i called the tour company and told them what had happened, at which point a boat appeared. We were the only 2(plus 2 yr old daughter) on the tour, and the tour guide (boat driver) was lovely. We spent 30 mins fishing and caught 5 fish. We then went to the beach and relaxed there while a BBQ was prepared for us. The food was plentiful and tasty. The tour took a total of 6 hours and was definitely worth it.

Doing what: Pulau Payar Marine Park Snorkeling Tour from Penang
Fantastic trip. Although their appeared to be a lot of people snorkeling, I never felt overly crowded. Fish in abundance and clear waters. Option of swimming with the sharks, I declined! 2hr boat trip from Penang was also very pleasant. All pick ups were well organized,

Interesting and knowledgeable visit along the west coast line among the local fruit orchards. Batik printing reveal some insight and snake temple was quite thrilling and intriguing.

Misleading as there was no Penang Hill tour. Kek Lo Si Temple tour was refreshing and a nice walk at the Botanical Gardens

Doing what: Penang Island Discovery Morning Tour
It was the greatest tour ever booked! The tour guide we had was excellent! He's really knowledgeable and courteous. He even dropped us off at a destination easier and cheaper for us to take a cab to our next destination. Best of all, he offered to drop our shopping off at our hotel so we don't need to carry them all around which makes it so much easier for us! He's by far the best tour guide we have ever met. Thanks so much to him...
As for the tour, it's exactly like what is described on the web, but with more perks!!! Everyone should go for this tour to better know Penang like a local! Definitely a 6 stars tour! Cheers...:)

Doing what: Pulau Payar Marine Park Snorkeling Tour from Penang
It was nice, but could have been better planned. It was an extremely early start so we didn't have time for breakfast. By the time lunch came around we had just about passed out from starvation. They sell soft drinks but no snacks to keep people going until kunch was served. Also, they took us over to where the baby sharks were but we were not allowed to take our snorkels. Like how the hell were we supposed to see anything without goggles??

The tour rep was fun and had good knowledge. The tour itself did not have much to do but stopping over for fresh juice.
