This was wonderful for a first time trip. the walking tour allowed me to go at my own pace and to see a litle more of the city. I also really liked the historical info given in the tours. Most importantly the directions on how to get to the next sight were very user friendly. I would definatley recommend this product and use it again. Thanks Walking Tour!
The tour was very educational, with the areas the tour took, Society Hill, South Street etc and then into the Delaware river , very nice.
Great, fun way to see the City of Brotherly Love and get an introduction into Philadelphia's history which you should already know, of course! and places of interest. If you have to sit at the back - beware of the splash!
so much fun. we got a couple of strange looks when we got aboard without any children but that didn't bother us. you learn about the history and sights of philapelphia without having to walk and we even got some quackers to use and take home and a dip into the delaware river.
Our group loved this tour. Betsy Ross was our guide and she really added to the success of the whole experience. She was very knowledgeable about the tour info and it was very clear she enjoyed her job. This was the first time our whole family had been together in almost 8 years as we have 2 sons in the military, and the group shot of all of us including all of our grandchildren before we boarded the vehicle was the first family photo we'd had taken in almost 10 years! It was a great picture of all of us! That alone was worth the cost my husband and I had paid for us to all take this tour. Thank you, Ride the Ducks... and Betsy Ross!
Nana, daughter and grandchildren all enjoyed it. Lots of fun info, not the same old boring tour. Kids loved "cruising" into the river. Staff was courteous, informative and just plain fun!
Our tour guide made the duck tour for us, he was very funny and had us all laughing all the way round.
10 of us, ages 6-50 and a baby took the Duck Ride as a birthday gathering. It combined history, witty comedy, loud music, a ride thru Center City Historic District and a ride on the Delaware! It is not the best historic tour offered in the city, but it is the most enjoyable for a range of ages!
We had the best escort, a typical South Philly guy with the best routine. I had my family from California, and it was one of the hottest days of the summer, but everyone was thrilled with the tour. What a great way to see and learn about Philly. Thanks so much. This was definitely a home run in my book - a five-star event.
