Doing what: Grand Canyon via Sedona and Navajo Reservation

We were picked up at our hotel in Phoenix at 0700. Our driver/ tour guide, William, was wonderful! It was his 898th trip up to the Grand Canyon. So he certainly proved to be very knowledgeable as well as funny. I'm so glad we took this tour vs. driving. We learned so much about the history of Arizona as well as other interesting facts that we would have missed out on had we just drove. Since it's about a 9 hour tour, time was limited in Sedona and the Navajo Reservation. However, you're given about 2 hours or so to take in the jaw dropping views of the Grand Canyon. Your choice of lunch sandwiches is included on your tour as well.

Doing what: Grand Canyon Helicopter and Ground Tour From Phoenix

I would recommend this tour to anyone, Our tour guide Memo was very informative, on the ground tour part, the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon was AMAZING!!!!!!! As far as I am concerned it's the only way to see the Grand Canyon, I would not purchase the DVD as you can't understand the audio part when the Pilot talks it is so muffled. I would rate the tour itself 5 out of 5!

Doing what: Grand Canyon Helicopter and Ground Tour From Phoenix

What a great tour!! I was so pleased with the whole experience. I would recommend this to everyone!
Our tour bus was very comfortable. The stop in Sedona was quick but great. Yummy lunch! Our tour operator was so knowledgable and a complete asset to that company. He was pleasant, funny, great driver and an all around awesome tour guide. He knows everything about the state of AZ. It was so nice to drive around the state too. I had never been any further north than Phoenix. The Grand Canyon was AMAZING and I am so glad I chose to do the Helicoptor Tour. Our pilot was also great!!! All around a day that I will never forget!

Doing what: Small-Group Deluxe Grand Canyon and Sedona Day Trip

Pictures and words cannot describe the majesty of the Grand Canyon. It was breath taking and awe inspiring. We took advantage of many different view points and were given ample time to enjoy them. Our guide, Rick, shared much information that made our experience even more memorable.

Best way to explore the beauty from Phoenix - Sedona - Flagstaff - The Grand Canyon. The helicopter tour is a must-do on anyone's bucket list. It doesn't get better than a bird's eye view of this gorgeous natural wonder of the world. A big thank you to Viator and Detours !

Doing what: Grand Canyon via Sedona and Navajo Reservation

Great trip to the Grand Canyon. We covered a lot of ground. The stops were short but they needed to be to be able to see everything in one day. We were the last people to get picked up so we had to sit in the back seat with other people. Not the most comfortable seats especially for 13 hours. Our guide, Christian, was knowledgeable and very pleasant. I read how other people were upset about how fast the drivers drove but the speed limit is 75 in this part of AZ and everyone drives 85. I didn't feel unsafe at all.

Doing what: Grand Canyon via Sedona and Navajo Reservation

Overall I really enjoyed this trip and the opportunity to see the Grand Canyon, in particular. It is a long day, but well worth it if you only have a day to see some sights.

The tour company was well organized - as they were coordinating different people on different parts of the tour. We had three different buses and drivers throughout the day and participants joined and left the tour. Max people we had was probably about 8 people.

To improve this tour, they could skip the Navajo Reservation and spend more time in Sedona. You only really eat lunch at the reservation and don't see anything other than driving through it or get much information on it. As we drove into Sedona there were some amazing sights and I assumed we'd stop to see them and take some pictures, but the driver just kept going, dropped us off right in town and gave us 30 minutes (presumably to look at the shops). I looked for good views and took some photos of the surrounding area. He did stop at one spectacular look out point on the way out.

We spent most of the time at the Grand Canyon at two different locations. It was spectacular and our guide was very knowledgeable. At one point we did a 1-1/2 mile (easy) walk along the rim of the Grand Canyon. That was fantastic!
We also saw lots of Elk when entering and leaving the national park.

It was a long drive back and we had to stop in Sedona to switch buses and drop people off. Our 3rd driver of the day left quite a lot to be desired. I was at the back of the bus and couldn't tell how fast he was going but it seemed fast. When we stopped for a rest stop on the way back, one couple would not get back on the bus because they were so upset about his driving. Yet, they didn't say anything until we stopped. Anyway, they didn't get back on the bus, we left them at the gas station (presumably the tour company was taking care of them as they'd been notified). The driver was apologetic, and drove carefully the rest of the way.

All in all, fantastic!

Our Tour Guide was excellent and made the adventure awesome! The Grand Canyon and Sedona tours were amazing and worth the drive up from Phoenix! Only questionable item was our shuttle bus which was in need of repair.

Doing what: Grand Canyon via Sedona and Navajo Reservation

My husband and I really enjoyed our trip/tour to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We had been to Sedona before but did learn more about the settling of the area and the beginnings of the town. The Grand Canyon geology is amazing and the winter beauty was fabulous. Our tour guides were full of knowledge that they easily imparted to us and answered questions. The trip was well worth the time and money!

One other thing that I would like you to know as a company.... the tour guides need to keep in mind that some people have allergies to cologne and after shave!! Don't use so much as it takes away from the trip when you are plugging your nose and getting a headache.

This is a great tour! Very nice tour guide (Richard) who seemed to know everything about the Grand Canyon and could show us the most spectaculair views. He also made pictures from people when asked. Because we had some delays in the morning, he made sure that we could stay longer. An amazing day!!
