Phi Phi is Paradise. If you are pushed for time then upgrade to the speedboat option, if you are on a budget the express ferry will suffice. It does take about an hour and a half to get there...but it is so worth the wait. The ferry was very safe and not overloaded with passengers and provided complimentary food, coffee, water and movie. You have the option to snorkel or stay at the beach. In total you have around 3.5 hours in Maya Beach. TIP: wear LOT'S of sunscreen and try and sit in the shade on the ferry or you'll be burnt by the time you arrive...Lunch was not that great

I was disappointed in this tour, given that I've had the same tour last year arranged by another company, the difference is huge, this one was not organised properly at all, the tour guide didn't care about anything, no information was given to the people onboard, no one knows what was expected next, no safety measures were taken or explained, even when stopping for snorkeling or swimming, the proper head-count of the people on board was not taken seriously!, we could have easily left some people behind in the open water!

Safety information for this tour is provided in an information sheet before the tour begins. The sheet is required to be viewed and signed by each passenger before they are allowed to take the tour. The company also wishes to assure all passengers that a proper headcount is always done for their tours, though they do try to keep it from impacting the tour experience by doing it as more 'behind the scenes' work.
We are told that there were two guides on board that day to accommodate multiple languages being spoken, and the second guide was not an employee of the company operating our tour - but a private guide hired by another group. That may have accounted for any perceived aloofness by that guide, as he was tending to his customers.
We do apologize that the tour did not live up to your expectations, but we did want to respond to the complaints concerning safety - as all of our tour operators do take safety issues very seriously. We hope this response provides useful information for yourself, and other passengers, and we do hope the rest of your holiday was excellent.

This tour was amazing! The only reason I am not giving it 5 starts is because we went during the busy season and there were other boats everywhere. We still had a great time and the crew was extremely helpful and professional.

It was fun but a long boat ride that took up most of the time. It would have been nice to be in a smaller boat to explore some of the beautiful inlets. We enjoyed the beautiful beach on Ko Phi Phi and the snorkeling. We would do it again.

This is a DEFINITELY a MUST while you are in Thailand.It was an amazing day. Well organised and lots of fun. Especially the snorkelling.Lunch was also fantastic (buffet style). The sights are to die for,however, be prepared for an hour boat trip which is quite bumpy.I would give this 10/10.

My husband and I signed up for this tour as day trip while staying in Phuket. The majority of the day was spent in transportation, starting with our 7 am pickup to get to the pier. The ferry to Phi Phi left at about 8:45. As you near the part of Phi Phi that is famous, there is an announcement on the ferry that because our boat is too big, we can't actually go to close so from afar they point out the sights (which were the main sights we thought we'd be seeing). We then made a stop to drop off passengers at the main dock in Phi Phi at about 11. At about 11:15, we had to transfer to a longboat to get dropped off on a small beach. They then announced we would have 45 minutes to snorkel, at which point you get back on another boat and they drive you 100 feet out to snorkel. The snorkeling was not good and there were about 15 other boats around us. At about 12:30 we went back to the beach for a buffet lunch, which was one of the worst meals I had while in Thailand. You then have until about 2:00 to sit on the beach before going back for another long ferry ride and then ride back to your hotel. I felt like the information on Viator's website was misleading and the tour was not at all what I expected. I wish we could get our day back and spend it at the beach instead!

The information was not clear that did not includ Phi Phi leh. Photos about this tour showed Phi Phi leh/Maya bay. The guide only told us that we would stay only at Long beach in the end of the tour when there was no more time to contract a boat to go to Maya bay. Cheating!!!!
