Pisa Duomo

The bus was the longest part of the tour. The stay in Pisa was informative and given just enough time to see the sites, climb the tower and walk through the basilica.

This tower and the Cathedral are must sees. If you have looked at pictures only, then seeing the real thing will give you memories you'll never forget. Go early in the AM to climb the tower for by afternoon tickets are all sold out or better yet purchase the tickets to climb the tower online. Great tour to enjoy.

There is so much more to Pisa then we realized. This was a really good tour.

The Pisa tour was great and the Guide was very good but we did not end up with any free time because we pre booked a tour inside the Tower.

Tour guide was fun and interesting but would have liked more site visits. We only visited the site of the Leaning Tower and one other piazza. Pisa has other sites to offer too.

While the guide on the bus ride was helpful, informed, and nice, the guide in Pisa took us for a tour of the town, using up valuable time on a tightly timed schedule. As a result, by the time we got back to the leaning tower, we only had time to go to the bathroom, climb the tower, and hustle back to the bus. There was no time to enter either the church or the bapistry. The extra few minutes we would have gained, would have allowed us to see these wonderful buildings. Also, our climb time was for 1/2 hour before we were to meet up to return to the bus. Since the climb time was about 20-25 minutes and the walk to the meeting place was 5 minutes, the entire experience felt rushed.

6 of us went on this tour but only 4 wanted to climb the tower. When I phoned and asked if the tour that doesn,t climb the tower was on the same bus, as we wanted to stay together but the climb tour was dearer, I wanted to save my parents some money, I was told that the 2 tours were by different companies and on different buses. We ended up buying 6 tour and climb tickets. On the day there were numerous people on our bus that were not climbing the tower? In the end we had 2 extra climb tickets that we paid for but did not need.

Totally boring they should just sell the ticket for leaning tower of pisa. Not worth doing the walking tour.

I accept that this tour was basic, but in total it lasted some 40/45 minutes. Other members of the tour agreed. Perhaps there is not much else to see in Pisa, but this tour as such should be taken off the menu. I have done Florence with you and that was much much better.

This was disappointing. We did get our ticket to go up to the tower, did a walking tour of the city which was not that big an area but we never went inside the Duomo as it stated in the description of the tour:
•Head inside Duomo di Pisa and admire the cathedral’s Romanesque architecture

I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone. You could get your tickets to the tower some other way and you would come out cheaper.

The tour guide was nasty; she stated she was waiting for us at the meeting location and we were there from 2:30PM for a 3PM tour; she was not accomadating at all.

Terrible! Took a taxi to the leaning tower. Saw Hop on bus and waved at it and it did not stop. Walked MILES each way down the supposed pick up route and could find no sttop. Took taxi back train station.

Extremely disappointed with the tour. Too rushed. Tour guide (although not an awful person) was not confident or very appealing to listen to. The instructions to people on the tour was not clear. Some people took too long to return to meeting area and took too long to put their bags into the bag kiosk which wasted time for the people who were organised. We had to run up the the steps at the Leaning tower and dash down so we were on time for the bus to return to Florence. Half a day is NOT enough time when you are dealing with people who cannot abide by time schedules. Would not recommend this tour or tour guide to anyone.

A very disappointing tour run by CAF for whom Viator are agents. We were not taken to Piazza dei Cavalieri and the guide denied that this was included in the tour. The tour lasted 40 minutes instead of the advertised 90. We were only given directional indication for the cemetery and a very brief comment on the baptistery. Most of the time in the cathedral was "own time" rather than proper "guided time". Further, Viator have not responded to my e-mail complaint. I shall not use Viator again!
