I traveled with my 80 year old mum to Florence and Pisa from Rome. The trip was very good, the guides were very clear and kind. The whole trip was perfect, on the first day the food in the restaurant was very good as well. I would have rated the trip as 5 stars, because everything was very good, however there was a lack of comunication when we arrived the hotel in florence, I did not know where to take the coach to go to Pisa the next day and nobody knew at the hotel, eventhough the guide told me that I was going to get my itinerary at the hotel. So I had to call Viator to get the information. Then when we came back from Pisa, I had to call again to know where to go the next day to go back to Rome. I would suggest that Viator should have prepared an itinerary and hand it to me on the first day, so I would know exactly what to do without stressing.
We were disappointed as the first bus we got on would not allow us to travel on the upper deck due to them expecting a party of school children. We decided to get off the bus and wait for the next one, which was fine, and we enjoyed a very relaxed and informative trip.
The tour was delightful and the staff very helpful. We could only find one bus stop for the Hop on Hop off bus but the young lady told us that all we needed to do was just flag the bus down.
Third Day went wasted and the tour plan could have included Venice...
First Day: Florence and Pisa, Second Day: Venice, Third Day: Return to Rome would have been ideal
Yet staffs have been very helpful and friendly
Great Trip. Good Guide. Flexible tour suited for us where we have time to explore the places at our own pace and comfort. Fully satisfied.
I had friendly,well qualified guides.I was impressed that Viator could put together the various programs from different companies. However, this created frustration as nobody knew the details of the next step and I had to have the hotel call around to get details so we could learn where and when to be at a location. .
Our guide Fransesca was very knowledgable. The private tour was the way to go. Our driver Daniel was entertaining and recommended a great restaurant. Pisa was fastinating, the tower and surrounding buildings were great, visit the church while your there.

Not much to see in Pisa, because the bus only stop between the Leaning Tower and PIsa central station
Good tour, but a long wait between pick ups, which wastes so much time in a day.....

If you have a morning or aftternoon free in Florence, this trip to Pisa is perfect. Our driver arrived early and did a great job getting us to and through the crowds in Pisa. Our guide was amazing and encouraged us to stay in the balcony of baptistry for the acoustical demonstration. This tour was our eighteen year olds favorite!
Don't waste your money, the buses don't stop at the points or times listed on the site map!!
And the phone number given for customer service is never answered.
Excelent option but is not clear the information about the stops location.
Because the tour is done with people returning to Rome the same day, who will stay in Florence is very tiring follow the trail. The 3 star hotel option is bad ride and tour escort was not gentle
Excellent option to know Pisa. Since it is a little town, you do not need that much time to know it. Very recommendable!
