Finding the representative was easy. Just make sure you get there 15 minutes ahead of time as you have to lock up your bags for security reasons. You can still take your camera. It was nice not having to lug up our bags. The climb wasn't too bad and the views were amazing!!!! So worth doing!!!!!!

The Leaning Tower is really breath taking. The carvings are so intricate it shows what great crafts men were about before computers, electricity and tools you can buy.
The rep was waiting for visitors. The yellow badge was nice and big! She exchanged the voucher and explained protocol. If you are not told (I was) no bags are allowed up the tower they are left in a secure locker next to the ticket office.
Going up the tower was orderly and controlled (number wise) before we were allowed up there was a small talk on the history of the tower.
Be aware the steps are marble and well trodden and can be slippery if you take your eye off the ball !
The lean of the tower can be felt really odd sensation. The wind also made it sway a little.
You get to two viewing areas the best one was the ones with the bells.. Views from here are stunning. You can roam freely and are well rewarded for the climb! its nice to see the setting in a different perspective. The hills beyond looked tantalising. Ah that's for next visit!
You will enjoy the tower its a gentle hour certainly one that will be remembered.

I accept that this tour was basic, but in total it lasted some 40/45 minutes. Other members of the tour agreed. Perhaps there is not much else to see in Pisa, but this tour as such should be taken off the menu. I have done Florence with you and that was much much better.

Had to clarify address to pick up tickets as it wasn't clear. We then waited at correct time and your representative turned up 15 mins late. She had no sign so we only found her because some local people were helping us. She failed to tell us about putting backpacks in lockers. Very stressful.

I have no problem with the local provider. I blame Viator for not making it clear before paying and getting confirmation on the skip the line pass. Besides the fact the price is over double if you go get tickets on your own. There was a set time to do the tour. I was on a cruise ship and could not stay in Pisa all day waiting for an afternoon skip the line pass. I went ahead and went to the ticket office for the tower walked right up, no line at all and got in the next group to climb the tower. Will not be using Viator again.

Terrible! Took a taxi to the leaning tower. Saw Hop on bus and waved at it and it did not stop. Walked MILES each way down the supposed pick up route and could find no sttop. Took taxi back train station.

A very disappointing tour run by CAF for whom Viator are agents. We were not taken to Piazza dei Cavalieri and the guide denied that this was included in the tour. The tour lasted 40 minutes instead of the advertised 90. We were only given directional indication for the cemetery and a very brief comment on the baptistery. Most of the time in the cathedral was "own time" rather than proper "guided time". Further, Viator have not responded to my e-mail complaint. I shall not use Viator again!

Tour was shorter than it was advertised. I Did not get to see that much of Pisa. Anyone could have read something about the tower and other places and walked this short distance and save the money...disappointed...

only worth doing if you do not purchase your Pisa tickets 2 weeks in advance with the actual company. the prices were much more than if we had gone through the actual Pisa ticket sales but since it was a last minute trip, we were outside of the 2 week in advance window so these were the only tickets we could get. the guide didn't really tell us much about anything...just handed us our ticket, took us as a group to the lockers to lock up our purses, and then took us to wait for our tour time right in front of the tower. different person talked about the history of the tower once we were let inside.

Valentina brought us to Florence. She was not as good as the other guides I had on my other trips. I wish there was more explanation about Florence. The local guide that brought us from Florence to Pisa and also the local guide at Pisa are very good. Recommend this trip, and if possible, stay longer.
