Portland is a biking city, so this was a great way to see and learn about the city. Our tour guides were knowledgeable about Portland, the breweries, and the beer. The pace and length were just right. We had a blast. Thanks!

portland was great. our tour went very well. we had a hotel pick up and drop off. the waterfall tour was worth the price alone. the city tour was nice but rushed. i think the weather in portland can make or break whether any tour. the day we toured it was wonderful. the only negative was that our pick up at the hotel was 1 hour late. it is a city with lots of traffic and i guess things happen. thanks norman edwards

This beer and bike tour was the perfect way to explore Portland. Our guide was amazing. The beer was was good. And we got to see things we would never have seen on our own, including the inside of the Crytstal Ballroom. Take this tour if you like bikes and beer. The ride was easy and fun.

What a great way to spend a Saturday in Portland. I'm a local Portlander and took friends on this, we had a blast. A good mix of breweries, beer tasting and downtown sightseeing. The ride was easy in a good way (no serious sweating), but we covered a lot of ground on the bikes, a really good overview on downtown Portland. And delicious beer from Bridgeport, Luck Lab and McMenamins.

The morning city tour felt a bit disorganised compared to other city tours we have taken in other cities. As this is two tours in one, make sure you know what you want to do during the break waiting for the second tour (Columbia Gorge Waterfalls) to start.

The second tour to Columbia Gorge Waterfalls was great. Our driver/guide Kelsey was a very nice person who provided interesting information.

This tour was fantastic, and we saw a variety of things in one day. Our guides, Kelsey and Gunnar, were very nice and knowledgeable. I saw and learned more than I expected I would. There were 7 of us on the tour and rode in a van.

Our guide, Jeff, was great - he was from Portland and knew the city and the general area very well and could answer all questions articulately. Jeff offered coffee and pastry - I suggest he take his guests to one of Portland's many great cafe's (and charge another $5 if necessary).

Over the years my family and I have taken many guided tours of American cities. Often we use the Grayline company. I was very apprehensive about selecting another company but my concerns were unfounded. Our tour of Portland and the Columbia Gorge was outstanding! With no doubt our tour guide was the best we have ever experienced. She was helpful, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. She also had a passion for history which I really appreciated.

This was a fun tour and our guide, Gunnar, was very knowledgeable about the city of Portland. Actually, I was the only person in the first half of the tour which took us through some of the quirky neighborhoods around Portland. We visited the Rose Garden and the Pittock Mansion which is perched on the bluffs of West Hills overlooking Portland. The weather was perfect that day and there were clear views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. After taking a lunch break, the second half of the tour picks up a group of two as we head out towards the Columbia Gorge. We make a stop at a sturgeon fish hatchery before visiting some of the many waterfalls the Gorge has to offer including the famous Multnomah Falls. Gunnar made sure we were able to spend quality time up close to some of the larger waterfalls. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portland.

This was a fantastic tour! He showed us the best the city, the gorge, and the waterfalls had to offer. He was very knowledgeable and also knew the story and history behind everything he showed us. We were the only 2 people on the tour, so we were allowed to take our time at each site and go at our own pace. This tour was the highlight of our trip.

This small-group tour of Portland was really small--just me and the guide--so I got a truly individualized view of the city. (Awesome!) My guide was pleasant, engaging, knowledgeable, deeply passionate about heritage and culture, and made everything about Portland fascinating! After seeing all the quadrants of the city, from the elegant Pittock Mansion to the quirky food trucks in a neighborhood brewpub parking lot, I came to really "get" Portland. All of the neighborhood specialty restaurants (one for biscuits, one for pies, etc.), local coffee shops, innovative architecture, lovely parks, majestic evergreens and spectacular bridge-covered Willamette River were a colorful backdrop for the straightforward, unpretentious people who bring the true creative soul to this city. I appreciated the background stories and peeks into unusual places off the beaten path (like the converted elementary school that today is part hotel, part restaurant, part art gallery. An amazing place!) The half-day tour went quickly. I enjoyed my guide and consider him as much a part of my great Portland memories as the places we saw. The tour was well worth the time and money!
