The tour was good but there was a second non-English speaking group with us so the guide had to divide her time between us. The timing of the tour is rough because there is no lunch stop. I suspect it starts when it does so you can see the changing of the guard but we missed it by five minutes because the bus had to drop off some people at a different tour. In hindsight it would have been better to just rent an audio guide at the Castle.
EXcellent. All of the major highlights were covered, the tour guide was very informative in giving background on the history of the monuments, and watching the changing of the guard at the castle was wrth watching.
Great guide, very informative. Would definitely recommend this tour as a start to see Prague, but be sure to spend more time in the castle area, lesser town and old town.
small group but very thorough. The walking tour of the Prague castle and the surroungings was wonderful.I also booked while in Prague a dinner cruise with live jazz music, very entertaining thank you
So much to see. This is the best option for viewing the prague castle and all sections of the city. Once done with this tour, you can view the rest of the city by foot.
Our guide was very proficient in the English language and was able to answer all of our questions. The castle tour is a must see in Prague. It would be shameful to miss it.
Once we reached the castle our guide came into his own. 50mins spent in a minibus before the walk was boring. Wonderful City at Christmas. Do the opera and other concerts.
My sister and I really enjoyed our tour of Prague, guided by Jana. She is an excellent guide. We saw many sights in beautiful Prague, and had plenty of time to explore the amazing Cathedral and Castle. It was an excellent tour.
This tour was good in that it was informative and you do get to see many landmarks in a short amount of time. However, it is very rushed and you see everything from the bus, except for the castle at the end of the tour. Therefore, you don't get to take many pictures, and it's a bit hard to get your bearings as to where things are if you want to go back and see them later. My husband would have preferred a slightly longer tour that would have allowed more walking and sightseeing, but we don't regret taking this tour because it introduced us to places and areas we may not have found on our own.
We did this tour on our first day and it was a great way to be intruded to the city - helped us decide what to go back to see more of. We took the morning tour, and it was timed perfectly to be at Prague Castle when the changing of the guard took place - a fun surprise!
Although we had seen parts of the castle area on the previous day, this in-depth tour took us through many of the buildings we wished to go into. Our guide was full of information and protected her group like a mother hen. We saw a lot and learned a lot.
Commentary was HOPELESS. The guide was so busy pointing out the "nice" hotel here, and the "nice" restaurant there that when something of actual interest to a tourist came by, he didn't have enough time and would just say "there's a nice castle there".
