Doing what: Prague Castle Walking Tour

DO NOT BOOK this tour! We spent three weeks in Europe and went on many tours and this was by far our most horrible experience while we were over there. The tour guide Vera was horrible; rude, insulting, and demeaning. The castle and setting were gorgeous and had so much potential that were entirely ruined by the guide. No audio headsets were provided and with the group as large ad it was the tour guide was impossible to hear. The guide did not allow any time whatsoever for pictures and went through the entire tour as quickly as she could. You could tell that she was just going through the motions and trying to get through the tour as quickly as possible. She continually bitched about the older gentleman who was in the tour because he wasn't walking fast enough for the guide. I completely regret booking this tour from this guide and feel that it shouldn't be listed on viator because it was that bad.

Doing what: Prague in One Day Sightseeing Tour

This was a really good tour, not too long and not too short. I wish we'd been able to get out of the bus more often than just at the castle though. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Perhaps if an "all German" or "all English" tour was offered, we'd be able to cover more.

Excellent tour and a nice view of the castle area. In particular the guide was ver entusiastic and "connoisseur" of the history of his country.

Doing what: Prague in One Day Sightseeing Tour

Our trip to Prague was amazing. What a beautiful city! However... our guided city tour was a disappointment. Our guide was a very quiet lady with an extremely soft voice. She had no mike and made no effort to make sure her group heard what she was saying. Only those next to her could hear and understand. We enjoyed the walking tour around the castle, but would've benefited so much more had we known just what we were looking at and some of the history associated with the palace. Certainly not worth the money.

Doing what: Prague in One Day Sightseeing Tour

I would advise everyone to stay away from this company! Our "supposedly" English speaking guide was completely incomprehensible. They whiz by pretty much everything and only stop at Prague Castle. Although she asks if people have questions, she ignored every question I had for her and focused only on the 1 German, and 6 American tourists (we're from Canada). Then when we got to Prague Castle, she had the gall to ask if I would be able to do the 1 1/2 hour walk when I got off the bus because I wear leg braces. Least to say, I had no problems with the walk, however, an elderly couple from the USA were constantly lagging behind and having trouble with the stairs and steep paths, but she never dared to insinuate to them that they might have problems with the walk. I was not impressed with her tact (insinuating I couldn't do a 1 1/2 hour walk and ignoring every question I asked her about Prague) or her English. Also, the tour started 20 minutes late because she was waiting for 8 people who hadn't shown up (and never did), as well as 1 of the Americans who decided to leave the bus even though we were 15 minutes late to use the washroom.

Doing what: Prague Castle Walking Tour

Really helpful to have taken this tour with a guide as the castle area is very large and the history is complicated. I would definitely recommend to do this tour in Prague.

It takes you see panoramic and breathtaking views over the city, besides exploring the castle complex with wonderful and knowledgeable guides. Totally recommend it.

This tour was very informative and the guide (Donna) was quite nice. She did a very nice walking tour of the Castle and St. Vitus. The pace was just right.

This tour took us all over the city, as well as to the castle overlooking the area. Considering how much ground was covered, it provided an excellent opportunity to see many of hte wonders of the city (on both sides of the river).

Doing what: Prague Castle Walking Tour

I do recommend doing the castle tour there are a lot of sections to see. We enjoyed the tour just wish our tour guide would have informed us more about all that we were seeing.

Perfect if you have a short stay in Prague. We had only 2 days and spent the first at the Castle Complex. The second day we did this tour with the perfect timing to see the clock in action and a great pace. We were able to see and learn about the Jewish Quarter and Old City in half a day and leave Prague in the afternoon. The guide was very knowledgeable in the local history, art and arquitecture.

Doing what: Prague in One Day Sightseeing Tour

Finding the tour kiosk in Republic Square was easy. The large van was comfortable, and the driver good.
The tour guide was Terrible. She pointed to buildings and said "There's three pretty buildings." Or "There's a nice fountain." No history or explanation. She also spoke in Russian for a couple on the tour. They looked disinterested in her commentary also.
On the tour, one man fell asleep and snored as we drove through Prague.
I would not recommend this tour. When we toured around the Prague Castle, I saw several tours with people wearing headsets so they could hear their clearly-speaking English guide. I should have asked who was their tour company, so I could post it here.
One day earlier, the Driver who picked us up at the airport and drove us to our hotel gave us a wonderful commentary. Thank goodness, because we didn't get any information from our guide.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
The Russian couple left the tour after we walked down the hill from the Prague Castle. My husband and I did the same.
I know this tour has gotten good reviews from others, but our guide ruined it for us.

Good overview by bus and on foot. Join the morning tour if one wants to see the changing of the guard at the Prague Castle.
