Prague has become quite the tourist spot in the past decade and with that comes higher prices. However, a visit to Prague doesn’t have to break the bank (or even touch the wallet). There are plenty of free things to do in Prague that give visitors a chance not only to see the sites, but to learn more about the city’s past.

The gorgeous Charles Bridge which connects the old city to Mala Strana is one site that should not be missed. Packed with vendors, walking across the bridge is a great way to get a different look at the city. The bridge also features a number of statues. Be sure to stop at the Statue of St. Jan (you can tell this one apart because of the gold coloring on a part of it), place your hand on it and make a wish.
