Prague By Night
Good Views / Viewpoint, Must-Do Experience, Photography, Romantic, Town / City
Prague by night is a fantasy come to life of floodlit fountains and dramatically illuminated buildings.
After soaking up the sights of Prague’s landmarks and castle lit up at night, the climax is a visit to the famous Krizik Singing Fountain. Classical music, Broadway tunes and rock ballads set the rhythm for the spectacle, as a massive system of waterworks spouts delicate streams of colorfully lit water in a spectacular light show.
The fountain’s changing colors are joined by backlit montages, art projects, ballet, folk dance, drama – you name it. The musical themes vary across the year, from the Three Tenors, Metallica and Queen to Hollywood tributes and Vivaldi.

Our tour guide was great! He answered any questions we had in addition to lots of neat stories and legends associated with Prague. The tour took us through a large portion of the city, which was great! The trickiest part was finding the meeting spot, but we realized it was a booth/stand in front of the street number on the building. Great tour! I would definitely recommend doing this tour! You'll enjoy seeing the city at night, as well as learning about the human experiences of centuries ago. :)
