The Dolphin swim was simply amazing. It was well worth the upgrade to the Royal swim The trainers instructed us very well and it will be a day I will remember for sure. Just amazing

Well worth the price. The shows were timed perfectly so you could attend all shows throughout the day and still have time to enjoy the site without being rushed.

I'm every year and my dither still love this place
We also swim with the dolphins and this is the best experience ever
I highly recommended this place .Very friendly staff and animals so you can spend all day ther.

WOW.....A once in alifetime experience. Finally ticked this one off my bucket list. A must do if in the Dominican Repuplic. Don't skimp either. Go for the ROYAL Dolphin swim, a little more expensive but well worth it. One on one with the trainer and a dolphin and when it's time to buy your pictures, I recommend $100 for the total package (over 300 pics and a DVD) $100 sounds expensive but again it's a once in a lifetime thing.

Doing what: Dolphin Encounter at Ocean World
To be honest I gave 5 stars to the Dolphin (Chico from cuba). I would give to the trainer 3 stars because the intructions were not clear before the encounter with the Dolphin and they can be misleading to do something confusing. I was the first to be called to participate of a group of 4. I was seated across the trainer with a pool and the Dolphin in the middle. The trainer just called me and asked me to join him. He did not explain if the pool was deep or shallow, if I had to swim next to him or to walk around the pool. During the confusion, I jumped in the pool and I found out it was very deep. After making attempts to go back to my previous place, I decided that it was better to swim across the pool. I was a little worried about how the Dolphin would behave having me there inside the pool with him. I would highly recommend to the trainer to tell the people with clear words " stand up, walk around the pood and seat next to me". Those simple words would simplify and enrich the experience. Clear communication is very important!

Doing what: Shark and Stingray Encounter at Ocean World
This was a once in a lifetime experience. Well worth the money and a shuttle picked us up at the lobby of our hotel, dropped us off at the front of ocean world, and returned us the same way. Everyone was extremely friendly and we even paid $60 to upgrade. On top of that, our pictures and DVD were delivered to our hotel the following day. Would definitely do it again.

most amazing experience ever! if you all know of marinland in niagra falls canada ,its 100 times better!!! they have other animals and lots of shows for free. Ocean world is a must see! you have access to the park for the whole day!

It was great. Truly once in a lifetime. The dolphins are strong and really smart. The stunts were really fun and they were super playful. And we ended up doing the Sea Lion Experience also and that was awesome as well.

I really enjoyed the dolphin encounter. The only downfall was not being able to have my family there to watch this experience with me. I understand the policy of not wanting pictures to be taken so you can purchase ones taken from Ocean World but family members should be able to watch this take place. The rest of Ocean World was great. The tiger exhibit was awesome. The other shows were all very entertaining and informative. The buffet lunch was not good at all. I recommend not eating here, just eat a big breakfast before you leave your resort and then wait to eat supper when you return to your resort. The ride there and back was good, no problems with pick up or drop off. The bus was on time each way the the guide was very friendly and informative and spoke english very well.

Our time spent at Ocean World was good. The shows were all entertaining and informative. The animals all seem to be cared for really well. Ocean World is very clean and a pretty place to see. The tiger exhibit was awesome. The bus ride there and back was good. There were no problems with the pick up or drop off. The bus was on time each way and the tour guide was very friendly and informative. He spoke english very well. The only complaints that I would have would be involving the food and the dolphin encounter which my daughter took part in. If you do not participate in one of the animal encounters your buffet lunch is not included in your price, when still the buffet lunch was not worth it. The lunch costs $14 per person even if you only want a sandwich or fires and a drink. It is the same price regardless of what you get, it is a buffet and there is no other options. The food in the buffet was not very good at all, my daughter would not eat hardly anything, she said it all tasted disgusting. I would suggest not eating there, just eat a big breakfast before you leave your resort and then wait to eat supper when you get back. The other complaint is that family members are not allowed to go watch the dolphin encounter or any dolphin swim program. Ocean World does not want any outside pictures taken of the encounters/programs. They want you to purchase their pictures so they do not allow family members to go watch. I was really disappointed that I could not go watch my daughter have a dolphin encounter, this was an experience of a lifetime, I couldn't go share.

The show was out of this world! The dancers were amazing, the lead male and female dancers were simply incredible and Jolie, who appears only a few times, was remarkable! My girlfriend and I was disappointed in the dinner. My steak was too rare although I asked for medium-rare.
