Step aboard the good ship Marigalante, and enter the fabulous world of pirates!
The meticulously constructed Spanish galleon Marigalante was built to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Europe’s discovery of the Americas.
Set sail by day or evening for a day at sea, snorkeling, kayaking, playing on the beach – and not forgetting the pirate show with the rogue Dark Pearl!
The evening pirate show includes a shower of fireworks and pre-Hispanic show. Everything is included in this pirate extravaganza, from breakfast buffet to kids menus.

A friend of mine got married in Puerto Vallarta a few years ago, and it seemed like half the wedding guests did a tour of La Marigalante. I didn't go myself, but judging from the happy faces of the cousins, aunts, and uncles who came back from the trip, I judged it a success. The pirate show was very popular with the under-10 set. And that's a tough crowd to please, when it comes to pirates.
The Marigalante sets sail from the Puerto Vallarta Marine Terminal on the Bay of Banderas. The marina is opposite Passeig de la Marina Sur, off Avenue Francisco Medina Ascencio.
