We didn't know this voucher was through Vallarta Adventures or that one of this one was referred to by a new/different name (the one listed here is really called :"Rhythms of the Night"). No one could tell us where this tour was or who the provider was. (See below #3) This tour is only through Vallarta Adventures and it is not called "Sunset Cruise and Candlelight Dinner Show"! Be aware!
This was a great trip and well worth the money although if you attend a time share presentation you can get a better rate than Viator provided. Our gray Line driver took our vouchers without telling us she was not the proper contact for these trips- although she was for our transportation voucher. We hadn't called to check the 2 vouchers she took so we didn't know she didn't represent those companies as well. It made for a sloppy start to our vacation.
The evening was great! Definitely recommend this.
We had one problem with booking: we booked online for friends who were visiting PV at the same time we were in port on a cruise and had booked through the cruise. Online it looked like same day/time/event, but their tix turned out to be for a later show, No indication on the website that there were multiple shows- looked like we were booked on the same trip. With alot of wrangling, it all worked out to attend together, but almost did not- so- just a note: it would be helpful to list that there are more than one (3?) shows per evening. Thanks!
It was definitely worth it! Every part of this tour was perfect from beginning to end. The staff on the boat was extremely pleasant, the show was extraordinary and the dinner--definitely not a deal you can find if you live in LA! Dream come true.
There was not a pick-up service from hotel like we ordered. The travel provider just redused our request, so we had to get a taxi from hotel to marina. But show and food were very good after all. And our tour operator did absolutely the best job to make everyone happy. So we will recomend this dinner show.
I loved everything about it! From the moment we arrived to the departure spot, the friendliness of the staff and their energetic vibe made it even more enjoyable. Upon our arrival to the Galetas, the show was great! The "absolutely loved it" part was the candlelight dinner, right on the beach! Absolutely romantic and fabulous! The food and service was great, I'm not exaggerating! It's definitely an unforgettable experience.
This excursion was amazing! This is one of the top 5 evening excursions I've ever been on. At first, I was not sure about doing this. The price was a bit high, and I wasn't sure I would get my money's worth. Boy, was I wrong! This excursion was definitely worth it! It started out with a sunset cruise with full open bar and snacks. We passed by Los Arcos and got a great view of the city from the ocean. The arrival was amazing as well. The show was actually pretty good. I thought it would be a silly little skit, but this was actually a good production! Dinner was amazing, open bar again, and walking around afterward was nice as well. I would recommend this tour for couples looking for a nice excursion. This is not something for young children. It is definitely a couples thing.
We are cruise people and we booked this trip on-line prior to sailing. Cheaper than going through the cruise line, but we had fellow cruisers on the trip with us, same excursion. The "ticket booth" is right where the ship docks, so it was perfect. I wish someone would have written how easy it was to catch the tour off the ship. The trip itself was great! Nice hour and a half boat ride to the beach and the crew was entertaining. Food was great and the setting for lunch was like a tropical paradise. The beach was constantly being groomed and very neat. I would recommend if you don't want to do the shopping route in town.
We loved the trip to Las Caletas. The only regret was there was a lot to take in and not enough leisure time following all of the activities. It would have been nice if we could have stayed longer following lunch. The return time could have been pushed out to 330 to 400PM to allow more time to sun and enjoy the beach.
