We had the 10:30 tour. Only a handful of people on the boat. Nice little trip before we had to leave Iceland. We saw a lot of puffins. Nice and relaxing morning trip.

No Puffins too early in the season.
Weather poor heavy rain, but did see pods of Minke Whales and the cruise staff are excellent, encouraging concervation in a nation that hunts whales for food.

I didn't get to see any puffins but we did get to see dolphins and Minke whales! It was extremely cold with the sea winds so definitely wear warm clothes

Great to see some whales, but sadly, no puffins this time of year. I would still recommend this trip, although be sure to bring warm clothes.

Excellent trip. Perfect weather. Saw lots of whales - mainly Minke. Friendly, helpful staff. Good commentary. Puffin Island tour didn't happen - presumably because it's out of season. Included free pick-up from hotel which was particularly convenient. Thoroughly recommended.

We were lucky to have good weather, calm seas and loads of sightings of Minke whales. The puffins are cute but without binoculars you can't see much really.

Well-organised tour; unfortunately, we didn't see any whales, but the tour guides knew they were being elusive on the day we went out, so they made extra efforts to try and find them. I liked how those people who were staying on in Iceland were offered another trip to try and ensure they saw some whales. My advice - take some warm clothing!!

A bit disappointed as neither whales nor puffins were sighted and the weather was a bit rough. However you cant expect wild life to perform to request and maybe they were sheltering from the weather! The staff on the boat were excellent and there was lots of fresh air !

I had to take this twice to actually see the whales but it was pretty amazing once I did. The tour guide(s) were very informative and the boat was very nice - much smaller than the other boats that also do this same tour.

Dissapointing.
On the day that we were there we only spotted one Minkhie Whale. (sorry if that's spelled wrong) Then only fleeting glimpses.
The crew did warn us about spray on the upper deck, they didn't say that it would be like having buckets of water thrown over us.
Be warned, and be prepared. Wear waterproof clothing or get wet.

Interesting tour. Although the weather was horrible, wet and very windy. It felt being on the set of a "perfect storm". The only highlight was watching people unable to control their sea sickness. No Whales or Puffins (apparently Puffins vanish after August)!!
