All I can say is cold! We ate on arrival and relaxed until food had settled then the fun began. Cold and wet wetsuits yuk. Take under layers not cotton though. Guide was very playfully fun and knowledgeable about the area. Was a bit to cold for me but I would do it again. Be prepared to fall in. Was a little scary but safety is very much their priority.

First, I believe were not included in the tour one or two of the main attractive visits.
Second, we had cold rain in about 50% of the day, is not your fault but the result for us was a bad tour.

The trip provided views of many impressive sites while the guide provided excellent commentary. I would have liked to spend more time at several stops and less at others, but the tour schedule was successful in accomodating travelers with varied interests.

Spectacular scenery, complete commentary and fantastic variety of natural beauty. Very convenient pick-up and drop-off. Bus was very comfortable. We missed nothing!

The tour was great.Spectacular scenery. Our guide was very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. Lots of time given to explore and enjoy each site. The stop at the Geothermal Plant was an added bonus and very informative. We would highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Golden Circle Evening Trip from Reykjavik
This was a nice and easy trip for evening. However, we took on August 20th which was the last night of the season it was being offerred. As such it was really too dark by the time we got to the Geysir (final stop). While we did get to see the geysir blow several times, it was disappointing that it was so dark and we didn't get any good pix. Thingvellir was great and Gullfoss was spectacular. If doing late summer, skip the evening trip and do during the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The only negative would be it was getting dark at the last stop. I understand the only was to fix that would be to start the tour earlier.

The tour was quite good, but the star of the show was Linda, the guide. The day was absolutely miserable from a weather perspective. It poured constantly, and it made getting out to see the sights most unpleasant, but Linda managed to keep the group up, motivated and quite content with the product. The itinerary is excellent, but it's best on a good weather day. I am so glad I took it even with the bad weather. Linda deserves a major "kudo" for her work on that tour.

Well paced, great stops, very well thought out and very comfortable. Iceland is an island worth exploring and if you don't want to bother renting a car while staying in Reykjavik, this is a wonderful substitute.

This was a well organized and a great trip. The sights were wonderful; however, the guide did not keep the group together properly. Needed to pay more attention that everyone in the group heard his instructions and followed it.
