This tour was great! My husband and I took it on our honeymoon, the waterfall was truly beautiful, the geysir was neat though I've seen Old Faithful before so it wasn't that amazing or anything. Pingvellir was cool, though we only had a little bit of time there 25 mins. It was as advertised, with a few exceptions. We did not go to the village of Hveragerdi, and just a warning to travelers that the listed local tour operator was not actually the tour operator we had. It was also listed as Golden Circle Tour on the bus at the station so it was a little confusing. It's a small station though so all we had to do was ask, not a big deal. At Gulfoss, we had an hour and they gave a discount at the little restaurant there to people who were on the tour so that was nice. Recommended for a quick trip and good value! We were in Reykjavik for three days, Blue Lagoon for 2 so it was nice to see a little more of Iceland beyond the two main spots.
I am giving this tour 4 stars overall but it is an average of what we felt about the trip. Iceland is very interesting and despite the terribly cold weather and wind we enjoyed the trip. Although our guide "Early" was very nice, we found him hard to understand so we didn't know what he was trying to tell us. We were not aware that all tours booked through Viator are actually Greyline tours and that we probably payed more for the tour than booking directly through Greyline. I realize that time was limited. We loved the Blue lagoon and wished we had had more time there. The afternoon was interesting but I don't think that we visited all the places listed on the description. We never visited the charming village of Hveragerdi; it was just pointed out on the highway as we drove by. We did enjoy the waterfalls and geysers and the scenery.
