Overall I found this tour very good. There were a total of 8 of us on the tour and we went on a "mini-bus" that held 16 so it was comfortable. Peter was a great tour guide and took the time to get to know each of us and answer many questions.
The chair lift provided a great view and the river cruise was nice (lasted about 80-90 minutes).
Due to so many reviews complaining about the cost of water and wine over lunch and the high pressure wine tasting I was expecting it to be bad. In reality I didn't think it was bad at all. The wine tasting did take about 30 minutes, but there was no great pressure (even though none of the 8 of us bought any bottles).
I would highly recommend this tour.

Great trip with a great tour guide. He was funny and full of information about the area. Lunch was very good at the restaurant, and later for the wine tasting. The river cruise was just about the right length for a one day excursion.

Good day trip. Great scenery. Didn't really care for the ice wine tasting.

We had a good time, the bus tour guide was very informative and very nice. The only thing I didn't like was that they charged us an additional 10 Euro each to be picked up at our hotel and then when they get you where the tour begins it is on top of a mountain and your choice is to be driven back down or take a sky lift down for an additional 5 euro each. Then when you get to lunch they ask you what kind of wine you want but they don't tell you that you will be charged for that AND they insist you get some water so as to "clean your pallet" in between sips of wine which they also charge you for. The restaurant was very interesting, and the boat tour was gorgeous, but they got us there too, we paid for a live tour guide and they were short handed so we ended up with a recorded tour.

Boat ride very pretty. Would have liked to walk around more of the little towns. The lunch / wine tasting thing was way too long. It really was the bulk of the trip which was not really clear from the blurb. The restaurant was not very authentic feeling but felt more like a tourist trap, and the woman who worked there and did the wine tasting was obnoxious, not rude obnoxious, but over-the-top annoying obnoxious. A classy, quainter, place could likely be found.

The cruise was the highlight, but to get to the cruise base involved a lot of driving. I thought the lunch and the return to the 'wine tasting' was all a little farcical. I would rate this tour as just OK for the money it cost.

Although it says it is a 6 hr trip, roughly 2-3 hrs is shuttle travel to the boat. Dinner is NOT on the boat as we expected; it was in a restaurant and the food was so-so. The wine tasting out of little plastic shot glasses was a disappointment too. Don't Go! Save your $ and go on the boat yourself

Great tour -- so many beautiful sights! Our tour guide, George, was amazing. Looking forward to getting back to Frankfurt to do another tour or two.

The scenery is beautiful. Highly recommend this tour. The meal was delicious. Stops to see scenic sights were nice extras. Enjoyed the wine tasting at the end of the day. All it lacked was an overnight stay in one of the old castles. Saw at least a dozen castles overlooking the Rhine amidst the very picturesque countryside.

The morning trip to Heidelberg started not too early and the starting point was easy to find. Our guide was quite experienced and didn't talk too much also! Saw almost all of everything but of course it is a 4 and 1/2 hour tour and we couldn't stay too long in any place
The afternoon tour to the Rhine Valley was interrupted by late Friday afternoon peak hour traffic but we managed to get to the ferry on time after a bit of F1 style of driving. Magnificent views even through the occasional rain downpour so don't worry about rain. The dinner included was quite plain but I was hungry by then and ate it without complaint although.. I would suggest that the Wiener Schnitzel is not worth the extra money if it is offered to you. Recommended otherwise.

We had a wonderful time. It was a cold March day with snow flurries so there was only one other couple on the tour. The four of us became fast friends, and along with our guide, Michael, we and a wonderful conversation about the Rhine, the castles and everything else. The boat ride was nice allowing us to see the small villages and castles. I do know the flora is better in the summer, but no crowds allowed us to see everything easily and make friends.

Value for money. Being able to see nice scenery and take the River Cruise. The guide (George) even bring us to some additional attraction as we are ahead of time for the cruise.
